Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

I loved Vault Disney on the Disney channel SOOOOO much! It was sooo amazing i can remember waiting up all night just waiting to watch old Mickey Mouse Club episoides or the Wonderful World of Color. Disney needs to bring that back at a pay channel kind of like the Toon Disney Channel.

I think this is the reason why they came out with the Walt Disney Treasures DVD series. I really liked Vault Disney and was ecstatic to see the DVD series come out. And over at Disney Movie Club you can get several Zorro episodes, my personal favorite series that came out of classic Disney television.

I think your right. I bet they felt they could get more money with releasing them on DVD.

I didn't have cable as a kid and clearly missed out on something here. What was Vault Disney? I loved the intro with Mr. Toad and did I see Donald in Math Magic Land? Wow, that's been a long time.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Vault Disney came on the Disney Channel every night from 10pm to like 5 in the morning. Every night was different you had Walt Disney Presents with all the old Disneyland television episoides, or the Mickey Mouse club shows or Spin and Marty, or old Disney movies like Swiss Family Robinson, Swamp Fox you name it. It was soooo cool! When it turned 10 oclock that little intro would play and all night you got classic Disney tv shows from the 50's and 60's!

My favorite was a rebroadcast of the live Disneyland opening from 1955. It was so awesome. I was so pleased when it came out on DVD. But all the others was great, I really liked Zorro or the Mickey Mouse club.

Did you buy the Your Host Walt Disney DVD ZenMondo? If you havent you need to! It has a lot of the old Disneyland Shows. The best one is the opening of the Submarine Voyage, Monorail, and the Matterhorn! It is really worth buying if you havent got it yet

Yes I got that one too. If it has WALT in it and its vintage Television, I usually buy it. I love that old stuff. sometimes I buy movies just for the Vintage Television extras (well not really). The Alice In Wonderland DVD set has a TON of old TV on it. The Christmas Special (but it always makes me want to drink a coke -- its sponsor) as well as some musical show from the 50s with Alice music.

I know what you mean ZenMondo i am the same way
I bought the Alice in Wonderland DVD it was sooo awesome! They talk about coke on that episode like its going out of style. The same with on the Walt host DVD the sponser was Kodak and they run a Kodak commercial all the time!
