On my last trip to WDW, we had a fantastic meal at Boma, and I requested the recipe for cured pork loin with coconut curry sauce. I finally tried it this week, and even though the recipe needed some tweaking (some of the ingredients seemed out of proportion), the results were amazing! Everyone in the family loved it.

So does anyone else like to cook a la Disney? What are your favorite creations? Have you ever requested a recipe from a Disney restaurant?

We make WDW dishes alot!

They sell cook books in WDW that have "official" recipes in them. I think most are of dishes that they have retired, but some are current.

They have several books out here are a few:

Cooking with Mickey Volume 2
Cooking with Mickey and the Disney Chefs

I recommend them highly.

While at the Polynesian restaurant, my mom and aunt requested a recipe for a dessert, the chef made specifically for us. He was SO nice. The dessert was amazing by the way. 8)

I've gotten quite good at recreating the baked potato soup from Carnation Cafe in Disneyland. If you have a fax machine, and call city hall, they can fax over recipes to you within the hour.

We've got a few that we like - my favorite soup on the planet is the Carrot Ginger from Boma - big fat yum! The Berry Cobbler from Artist Point is another favorite.

My favourite is also from Boma. Its the little zebra cakes things they do. I cant do them justice with a description, but they are one of the best puddings i have tasted. We got the recipe for them. They are good at home, but to really experiance them well you just cant beat BOMA!

I made the Chicken Florentine once for some dinner guests. It was really great! I got the recipe from DisneyRecipes.com

My wife and I have a couple of regular dishes we make from Disney. The two favorites are Liberty Tavern Punch and Chicken A La Reine soup (from the good ol' days of Tangaroa Terrace at the Polynesian).

I didn't know they would give up the goods if you asked?! I'm gonna request the recipe next time I go to Epcot! I'm always starving to eat their food, if I could make it at home... OOOh, heaven!

Thanks for sharing all those recipe sites; I just got a whole lot hungrier and excited to try out one or two dishes with friends.

You're welcome! I haven't been able to try any of their other recipes yet, but I'd like to sometime.
