This time of year The sounds of the Holiday are heard on the Radio, TV and the Mall. Some of my Favorite Holiday songs are O'Come O'Come Emmanuel, O' Holy night, Silent night , the Christmas song, The First Noel..........Soooo What is your favorite Holiday song?

I enjoy those Christmas songs, too, but as far as Christmas songs that make me cry I'd have to say "The Shoe Song". Not because it's sad but because I think it's so horrible.

I agree that the shoe song is way too depressing for me! I usually switch stations when that comes on.

The song that makes me laugh more than any other is "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas". It's just so silly and makes me want to march around the house.

I usually like anything from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. My favorite Disney Christmas song is Chante, C'est Noel. I would love to go to Paris for the holidays!

Oh man yeah - that shoe song is bogus. Had my head stuck in the guts of a locomotive yesterday and practically flew off the thing to change the station [it was that or chuck the socket wrench at the radio...]. Who wants to be depressed this time of year? As for favs - there are a lot of good ones out there, the Trans Siberian Orchestra and Manhiem Steamroller folks do a mighty good job [and have a lot more than what they play on the radio]. If they play it as MGM or Epcot BGM I like it

I don't have any that make me cry, but O Holy Night, Carol of the Bells, and that one Chante ce'st Noel song are pretty neat.

Oooh, I love Carol of the Bells. Every version is lovely. I especially like watching the one on Claymation Christmas!

I think I've seen Clamation Christmas. Is that the one with different animals, and they couldn't say some word correctly?

Blue Christmas from The Year Without A Santa Claus is sad to me because it would make me cry if I were a kid and I knew Santa wasn't coming that year. The way the children sing it in the movie is really sad.

None make my cry, but I do enjoy listening to them when it is that time of the season.

Yes, I think you've got the right show. They couldn't seem to get Wassal (look at me, I can't even spell it) right throughout the show. From what I know, people either love it or hate it. Carol of the Bells takes place in the bell tower of Notre Dame with orchestra leader Quasimodo.
