Maybe after they finish this one, they'll get around to making a movie about the monorail.

My first thought was, "Noo!!" But I want to see it. I love the Jungle Cruise.

I hope they put in or at least allude to the old radio calls.

Don't forget the Big Thunder Mountain movie, and it's direct to dvd sequel "Revenge of the Mine Train(Through Nature's Wonderland)!"

HAHA  ! I'm sure that'll be a box office smash hit. I just got back from IMDB and they say it's announced and will probably be released in 2009. I can't believe it!!! I can't wait to see what my family has to say about this matter. 8)

I've wanted to see one made ever since the first Pirates. My friend and I once thought up some funny plots for it. Oh, which brings up my concern of whether it will stay true to the humor of the attraction or be more serious because it could be written by the Smallville writers. I hope for the humor, as I think it could be a non-cheesy funny movie.

Thinking about this movie, I just can't get images of J-Lo and Ice Cube out of my head. :?

I doubt any movie could do the ride’s quirk humor justice. I hope it doesn’t try to be dramatic either, I’ve already seen African Queen.

That could be a new addition to the actual ride. Just like when they added the pirana they could put in an Anaconda type thing. with the eyes glowing at night.

So come on - we're criticizing this before we've even seen it? Give it a chance - might turn out to surprise all y'all.

They could always have J-Lo and Ice Cube doing the Anaconda stuff as a parody. I think that could make it funny. I myself have pictured Brendan Fraser as the guy who owns the cruise and is the main captain. But that's just me.

That would work, because he's so quirky! The main bad guy could be Gary Oldman because he can be funny in a freaky/scary kinda way. :mickey:

Fraser would make a good, goofy pilot. Then of course Robin Wlliams, Like in the animation walk through audio, hilarious.

I like the Gary Oldman idea. Okay, I was trying to avoid spilling the beans on my plot idea, but I think I need to share it. Perhaps a Disney exec will come across the post and get inspired.

My idea for a plot is that the Jungle Cruise company has been in the jungle doing tours for a long time, but has always struggled. They always get lost, or barely make it out of the jungle with all of the tourists. Another company comes in and starts doing tours, but does it better and with a poaching business on the side.

So, Brendan Fraser and his troop of workers set out to defeat them. At some point in the movie they also befriend the natives that always seem to attack them. They do it by finding out the tribe is really friendly but just finds it funny to attack the boats.

I know it's a generic plot, but I figured with tons of comical talent like Fraser, now Oldman as the evil captain, and, say, Martin Lawrence as the chief of the natives, it would be a good satire of jungle movies. I also pictured someone like Owen Wilson being an obnoxious tourist. And then other guest stars like that.
