Everyone silently hope that what I saw was NOT the finished product, because it really wasnt very good at all.

The ride basically didnt do anything at all....except gross me out with the constant Stitch burping on the back of your neck, and the smell of rotten hotdogs that filled the arena you were sitting in. Its just what you said subsonic..its a circular thing and you sit there and watch the "show". I never rode AE so i cant speculate, but it had to be better than what this was.

I know nothing about this attraction other than it replaced AE. What's it like? Is it actually a ride or still a circular specticle like AE and Mission to Mars before it?

I read an article about it at mouseplanet.com, they said it is the same rooms as before. This isnt a new ride, its a layover with a stitch animatronic, burping noises, bad smells, and a terrible ending. Very dissapointing from my point of view.

Major disappointment, and Stitch is my favorite character after Mickey, of course. I was so disappointed that we didn't even go on in a second time when there was no wait at all.

I have no desire to ride or experience the Stitch attraction. For me personally I can't stand that character, the sticking of it's tongue in its nose is not funny to me at all. I think this is one of Disney's true failures that has come out in recent years..... But this is just my opinion. Sorry don't mean to offend you Stitch fans out there.

26 April 2005: Stitch's Great Escape rework

Chamber B is closed this week for Imagineering to carry out some reworking of the show. Imagineers and their computer equipment have been spotted inside, presumably re-programming show elements in an attempt to improve the poorly received attraction. During this time, chamber A remains open, however FASTPASS has been suspended.

Considering his popularity beats that of most anything they've churned out in ages I'd say he's a major sucess financially and character-wise, the reformed trouble-maker is pretty easy for most of us to relate to... And since the lines to meet him at the parks are huge [I've never seen more adults in line to get their photos with a character] I think calling him a failure is a bit harsh...

Maybe so, I can be very up front on my feelings, but like I said it's only my opinion and I am sure I am in the minority based on his popularity. Thats what makes it great we all have our own opinions, and mine can be wrong or disagreed upon as anyone chooses. It just happens that character rubs me the wrong way, sorry.

Alien Encounter. I'll miss that....

I'm not a big fan of Disney's recent releases, either, like bostoncg. (Pixar doesn't count.. I love all the pixars) I haven't seen a Disney moivie in the theater since Aladdin. After a long time I finally watched Hercules on video. I never bothered with Lilo & Stitch. It wasn't appealing to me at all. I feel the movies have gone downhill.

Not that it matters that much around here. I don't collect that kind of music

As long as we're on the subject of Disney's recent animated films, somebody's got to point out the underrated The Emperor's New Groove. It looked like crap in all the previews so I never even bothered watching it until it was on ABC, and I was really surprised. Not a masterpiece or anything, but really really funny.

Yeah, he was great! Anyone who has their own theme music is cool. I think that is the funniest Disney movie I've seen.
