Ok.. We SOOOO need to start a Yearly Subsonic Convention

We can start in WDW MK.... and I'll wear the pink ears and sunglasses like in my pic... and I won't need a nametag ... hehehe!
WE could ALLLL wear subsonic T-Shirts (and mini Ts for the Mini Listeners (like Addlema 2.0))! Instead of meeting in a "Convention Hall"... hehe we could meet at the hall of presidents! I would SERIOUSLY do this! I mean how much MORE fun could it be to be in Disney with a BUNCH of other Disney fanatics?!!
We may even be able to get convention "discount" rates! For those members who are single (or those of us whose S.O.s are not into Disney) we could share rooms and save $$.

I would like to meet for a day while on vacation and spend the day running around with other Disney Nuts. My biggest problem is I'm a control freak so following other people around is difficult.

hey, if we can get the rates (and if I could afford it), I'd be in. If we can't get the convention rates, so long as we get at least 8 people, we'd qualify for the Magical Gatherings rates...

I've never been to WDL.
It could just alternate from one to the other each year.

I found that for me even Living here in Philadelphia, PA it is still cheaper to go to WDL for a couple of days. Yes I can make either though, so keep this updated.

What about doing it during Star Wars Weekend at MGM? That'd be really cool also.
Altthough I think you're right knedeau. The hardest part would be convincing our SO's that aren't so into Disney. I mean sure they'd go on a trip there with us, but could we convince them to hand with a bunch of Disney loons like us?

Aah, the idea of a Subsonic Meet floats around yet again.
Once upon a time, Gizmata, Shinku and Subsonic himself met up at Disneyland. There were many happy times and delightful murmurs involving the idea of more meets in the future. We were happy. Life was good.
Then
somebody had to go off and get married and neglect us.
Seriously though, with enough heads up time, Gizmata, myself (and possibly Squid), and at one time Subsonic though I can't confirm or deny that now, can get together for a west coast meet. I'm limited only by the fact that I have more blockout dates than the other three mentioned.
*waits for this thread to fade away slowly only to have another thread start up in three months or so like always*

Could we do a floating gathering one year in WDW then in DL and then back to WDW? Sorry rest of the world we just can't afford the long hauls. Or we could have East/West meetings one in each Park once a year. But I think the switch from WDW to DL everyother year would be better for the whole group.
