Is Apple getting Disneyfied?

I was randomly looking at Apple's .Mac site (http://www.apple.com/dotmac/) and if you rollover the "Exchange Files From Anywhere" button, there is an interesting file name in the picture that comes up. Just thought I'd share with everyone as there's a certain Mr. Jobs that now owns several shares of Disney (which I'm an Apple fan too).

Interesting. I think Disney is getting apple-ified as well. Lots of disney stuff on iTunes.

Best way to pick up lost if you missed it. That is up until they started showing them for free on their website. Which is a great move if you think about it. Gives them a way to sell more commercials and all.

Yeah they have alot of ABC and Disney stuff on iTunes.

Yeah, it was waiting for my teacher to come to give us our final in the computer lab. Seriously.

As far as the iMac, I've always figured something like that is on the way. Or what about the Mickey Pod. It could be like the U2 one: decorated and come with a deal on downloading Mickey Mouse cartoons on iTunes.

I know I'd spend money to replace my current iPod with a Disneyfied version! :D 8)

I just got the 30GB and I'm with you. Now if I could just get one engraved with Goofy, Pirates, Haunted Mansion or Jack Skellington now that would be awesome. :)

Anyone think they will have a preloaded one with Disney Shorts, ABC programs etc?

As a PC user myself (which I PREFER), I do have to admit (hands over your eyes all of you other PC users) that I LOVE my IPOD and ITunes as well. I actually listen to Subsonic on ITunes..... I know! They do music well!

Mine is 2nd generation... and if Disney put one out... I would SO get it!

I bet you could get them engraved at Disney... there must be some store that does custom engraving for IPODs......

I hate iMacs which my wife and two of my kids have but I love my iPod more than any other gadget I have (also listen to Sub thru iTunes). Apple totally scored on the technology on this one and won me over huge - but even if the iMac went Disney I'd stick with my PC based desktop and laptop.

I'd love to see more of special theme park ones. They could make them colors associated with the parks and have exclusive downloads of music from that park. But, that would probably be way too much of a niche (not to all of us on Subsonic, though).
