What Disney Items Do YOU Have?!?!?

Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

Post by knedeau » Jun Tue 06, 2006 8:28 am

Ok, I know that a bunch of people have "Disneyed" their car.... (hehe ME!) So how "Disneyed" is your LIFE!

I have a Mickey Waffle Iron.... Fraggles (and Dori) and ALL my Pins in my Home office (I have no kids (yet)... so ALLL the Disney movies are MINE! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA), and a BUNCH of Disney stuff in my Office at work (when my new Digital Cam comes in... I'll post pics!)

So....... Let all of us here know... How much of your Disney mania do you show to the world?

I have a Mickey Waffle maker, All of my movie posters are Disney or Disney related (Both Pirates Movies, Nightmare Before Christmas, Indiana Jones and Star Wars). I've got the McDonalds toys on my desk such as Stich (As Elvis), Mr Incredible and the Moose from Brother Bear. Every Disney Movie (Cartoon wise) that has been released on DVD. We are putting together our Pins in a display case from the parks so we can enjoy them all the time. My iPod has like 750 different musical tracks from Disney (Parks and Movies). :goofy_bounce: Although I wish I was in the Thousands like the music played here. :) My favorite item is my wallpaper which is a collage of 4 pictures from our most recent trip to the World. :D

I have lots of plush, my prized one being my Mickey dressed as dreamfinder and holding Figment. I also have little PVC Disney figures, my mickey ears, a couple of shirts, many of the platnium edition DVD's as well as the old VHS, a couple of books (although I would love to get my hands on more) My pin collection which has now filled a pretty good sized cork board my VMK cards and many Disney theme park tracks on my iPod. My prized Disney possession as of right now is just recently I headed down to Art of Disney at Downtown Disney in WDW and I bought a Haunted Mansion attraction poster. The other two posters the have that I want to add to my collection are the Tiki Room and the Wedway people mover poster. They all have the retro look I love. The Haunted Mansion poster though is still rolled up in my closet because I have to get it framed professionally because it is so big. lol.

Other than my vast pin collection, my Disney items are limited to a few antenna toppers, two Mickey trivets, Mickey laptop case, and a handful of clothing items. Oh, and some wonderful Christmas ornaments. :D

Recently I have been building a Disney DVD collection. I have so far collected 10 of the Disney Treasures collections, they are totally rockin'. I am now getting mor into the animated classics, but there are so many!

My desk at work is decently-Disney'd...

Also, at home, I have two of those great big cartoony maps of Disneyland, with the characters all around the border... one from last year (with the "Happiest Homecoming on Earth" logo) and one from 1995 (with the "40 Years of Adventure" logo). I have a talking Pirates of the Caribbean jolly roger sign (it says "And mark well me words, mateys... dead men tell no tales... heh heh heh") that hangs in my bedroom as well. I have three 11x17 old attractions posters from the 60s/70s... the Monorail, Skyway, and Peoplemover, matted and to-be-framed when the fiancee and I move in together.

I have knicknacks and odds'n'ends from the parks. A scrapbook my fiancee made of our first trip together, made entirely with stuff we collected and photos I took. And of course, movies... too many to count, though I lack a couple absolute classics, like Snow White and Pinnochio, and I need to remedy that!

I also have a small pin collection (30-ish), and all but one are on my shoulder bag that I take to the parks every time... the one that isn't on there is waiting for a locking pinback.

I have about 300 WDW desktop wallpapers that cycle every 15 minutes, a pair of Mickey ears with my name embroidered that I got when I was 6, about 40 disney movies (classic cartoons, animated features, live action), a "frosty" cup (a cup filled with water that you put in the freezer so you don't need ice cubes to keep the drink cold) that has a bunch of cracks in it, a few shot glasses from the parks, and a framed movie cell from Finding Nemo.

I have to get my hands on one of those Antena Toppers, those are great (The Pirates one). Anyone else find their car at work or the mall or something by finding their Antena Topper? I've had a Nascar one for a few years and am afraid to change because I won't be able to find my car.

I don't even know where to begin - my entire home office is full of Disney prints and I even have a framed blueprint of Cinderella's castle in my office. If it's Disney we have it pretty much. We have so much WDW stuff in our house that one of my daughter's friends once asked "Are you guys Disney people or what?"

Yes child. Yes!

Let's see if you were to walk into my room you would see...A few postcards, a Disneyland HK sticker, mickey head pillow, "greeting from wdw" pillow, a mickey plush that goes on the bed. An Interstate 5 in a Mickey sillouette sign on the wall. My CP graduation Mickey ears and my certificate. My 50th anniversary golden ears. My lanyard with a few pins. A disney villians shot glass(wicked queen). My mouse pad is the Disneyland Resort logo. An orange CA Screamin mini car and a Grizzly River Run bear plushy on my nightstand. And a few of those spinny light toys gather dust on my shelves. Oh, and the fab five on a blue window blinds.
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Just my bedroom and bathroom are disney-fied since I'm the only real disney-nut in the family. On my moniter is a replica of The Haunted Mansion's Richard the Raven, and on the wall is an etched mirror of the original JII ride. My book shelf is filled with all sorts of Disney books from WDW. The bathroom has an animator's palate theme, everything is black and white except for portraits from 101 dalmations, aladdin, and the little mermaid. Mickey clocks are in both rooms :mickey:

Let's put it this way... Several years ago, I showed up to a dinner with a bunch of interview candidates and several hosts (I was one of the hosts), the candidates (acting on the advice of one of the other hosts), immediately had to check out all of my clothes beacuse the other host had bet them that I would be wearing at least one thing that was Disney.
