I was listening earlier and Capt EO was on! Is there anywhere online that has a video of it?

Disney has a no filming rule when it comes to things like this. Most people repect it enough to not do it.

There should be a rule that bans that wacko from ever being seen again!

THe dude is nuts, however, I enjoy most his music from the 70's and 80's.. and being a sci fi nut even as a kid Cpt EO was the coolest thing ever. There a lot of crazy people making good music.. In fact I think it's kind of a pre-requisite.

I really miss Cpt EO and wish they had replaced it with something more sci fi then Honey I shrunk the audience. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy HISTA, just not as much as EO!

Captain Eo was great! I could never really understand why Disney did it though. I mean, its not exactly the first thing i would think of when deciding on what new attractions to make for a Disney Park.
I think Disney ought to have made a film of every ride before they shut it down though. I would love to see Captain Eo again, along with many other rides and shows that have been long gone!

I know there's a video of it somewhere. I believe the people at Disney-Central have it.

It's an IRC channel.

I would love to see Disney ride videos! Especially Horizons and JII, I loved the old EPCOT.

Thanks for the link Addlema! I'd forgotten quite how...... strange? It was always such an odd show to find in a disney park I always thought, but it was good to see it again!

I grew up when the Jackson Five were just coming out. I very, very, much enjoyed the Mo Town sound. But when Michael went out on his own, I lost interest. Then Walt Disney World had Captain EO, I had to take my kids to see it. Saw it once and never went back.

Thanks for posting a link to the video addlema! I remember that attraction from when I was child. I have to admit I was always a little scared of it.
