Celebration Subdivision

I heard Disney doesn't own the Celebration Sudivision anymore. I think that was incorrect. I can only find information on the hotel @ Celebration not being owned by Disney. I have always dreamed of retireing, (or winning the lottery) and moveing there, thus makeing me the "best" PawPaw on the planet. But if Disney is no longer involved, that dream is gone. Does anyone have any information on this subject ?

What a bummer!!!
I didn't like the idea of paying so much for so little. But since it was "Disney's" I felt like it would be worth it.
(The brag'n rights would have been worth every penny)
I did some look'n & found I could own a chunk of land, and a large house just a few miles down the road for the price I was expecting to pay.
But I realy wanted very badly to live the "Disney Dream".

I love Celebration. The houses are all gorgeous! I love the retro looking theater and the main street with all the little shops. Celebration seems like a step back into yesteryear. I agree, when I heard Disney sold it I was very disappointed.
I had the same fantasy ericpabear! Win the lottery and buying a house there would be great! Hey, we could buy one of those huge ones and you can have one side of the house and I'll have the other and we probably would never get in each others way!

Epic, you can also do what a lot of CM's do - rent. Quite a few of the houses hold apartments. Get a job at Disney and live there.
