This thread was the "worst attraction" disney added.

So, let's assume we mean the dumbest AND that is current.

According to the poll in this thread, you're wrong.

Personally, I think the worst attraction is the Astrorbiter (Old Rocket Jets, lowered to the front) at Tomorrowland DLR. People can just go on Dumbo which has a better theme.

Can I just say the CURRENT state of the entire Tomorrowland at DLR is the DUMBEST thing in any Disney park?

Astrorbitor - should be called ASStrorbitor
Star Tours - dated, older than George Lucas' kids
the "Starcade" - less than 1/2 it's original size w/ no good games. do they even still have Air Hockey?!?!?!?
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience - Probably the best thing in Tomorrowland
Space Mountain - CLOSED
Big Wet Sphere - OK, I admit I try to see how fast I can get the thing spinning every time I'm there
Innoventions - LAME, LAME, LAME
Radio Disney Studio - When have you seen anyone in there in the last 10 years?
the stage - what is that thing called now???
Autopia - Cool, but not cool enough to redeem Tomorrowland
Monorail Stop - Weeeeee!

oh, I'm sorry!!! I shouldn't bash Tomorrowland so much. After all they do have the Hatmosphere?!?!?!?!?

Hopefully, all this will change next year. Space Mountain will reopen, the Buzz Lightyear ride will open, they'll get funding approved for the Finding Nemo Subs... *fingers crossed*

Considering it's only been open like 6, I dunno. That's sort of ambitious.
the stage - what is that thing called now???
The Club Buzz Stage

Hey, sanapunk! Welcome to the forums!!!!

Of course not!!! You can't blame Walt for the changes that Eisner and the board have made after his death, come on!!!! I would rather still have "Mission to Mars" and the "People Mover" than the "Pizza Port" and the empty track/remnants of "Rocket Rods" demise.

Somebody tell me if I'm wrong (I'm sure Shinku will), but I believe the only attraction that still exists in Tomorrowland from Walt's day is Space Mountain.

Thanks for the welcome. : )

No no, I don't blame Walt for ANYTHING bad witht he parks. But the original poster said the creater/inventor behind It's a Small World deserves a lobotomy. Didn't Walt create that ride for the World's Fair?

While there are many rides I don't like to go on anymore at WDW (Grand Prix Raceway, tea cups, Dumbo) I think every ride has some redeeming quality to it :D I can't think of any that I think are dumb. That's just me!

I used to think the Tiki Room and iasw were dumb (or lame) but as I grew into more of a Disney fan there's the nostalgia-factor. Now I am hard-pressed to think of a dumb attraction. I can think of lots I am tired of. And some I'd rather not do more than once (e.g. most of the movie-based shows like Circle of Life)

just rhought of another

The Golden Horseshoe revue at Disneyland was a show I put off seeing until just a few years ago. Everyone I talked to held it in high esteem, but it always seemed like such a hassle to get in before they filled up for the day. Turns out I didn't care much for it anyway. It probably has something to do with nostalgia. After 9 or 10 times it probably gets funny...

My pick for worst ride is the Indiana Jones ride from Disneyland PARIS! It actually gives you a massive headache and, unlike most of the other Disney coasters which are quite smooth to ride, it makes you feel a little naucious...possibly because it is poorly designed (?). And them making it go backwards to increase the thrills probably didn't help either!!

Its pretty funny because over the years i've noticed that the queues seem to get a bit shorter everytime i visit so i don't think i'm the only one who feels this way. Wish they would tear it down and build its California equivalent instead... But that's probably wishful thinking :(

I'd probably vote for the new Whinnie the Pooh ride at Disneyland. It's not that the ride is absolutely horrible, exactly, but just that they removed the Country Bears for that vastly inferrior thing really chaps my hide. It seems so uninnovative. It's so totally lacking in any sort of greatness whatsoever!

Bring back the Bears!

Hmm I would have to say the dumbest ride at disney would be the aladdin magic carpets at MK, why we need 2 kinds of the EXACT type of rides is beyond me (I dont include the dark rides because those each have their own different unique stories)
