Neither did I! I was completely shocked and surprised when I read through that list. I loved the bit in their movie about Bart describing Mickey as "a mascot of an evil corporation". It never gets old.

You really never realize it because it is usually a quick 2 line zinger at Diseny. I started picking them up after I started this thread. Once you start looking for disney references, you catch them pretty quickly.

It's got a ton of references starting from the 1930s to the present so it's a thumpin' good read.

Wow, that is a great link. I am going to peruse it well later today. Thanks!!

Bruce Springsteen: At the end of his performance he shouted out "I'm going to Disneyland!"

Yeah, I heard that... but shouldn't it have been Disney World? Since he is from NJ and the Super Bowl was only like 90 miles away from WDW?

Maybe he hasn't gone to Disneyland in a long time? Who knows.

Be on the lookout for the Super Bowl Disney commercial. I just saw it during the Tonight Show. A job well done by Disney. The black and yellow mickey balloons at the end were a gret touch.

I just saw the episode of The Simpsons with Sharry Bobbins, the Mary Poppins parody. It's been so long since I saw that one.

I have the Mr. Sparkle shirt.. actually it is bad shape because I used to wear it so much, and of course wash it, it is in terrible shape. I need to replace it. (actually last time I was at Disney I replaced my beloved Figment ringer shirt for the same reason).

I am actually kinda bummed.. I go to Disney next week, and we are spending one day at Universal, but not the park with the Simpsons ride.
I am going to be ONE PARK away.. maybe half a mile or less from the Simpsons ride... and I can't ride it!!! *cry*

Right now I'm watching this episode of Family Guy where Quagmire falls for the maid Peter wins after going on Wheel of Fortune. They just did a parody of Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp and Aladdin all in one go.

Very good episode of Family Guy.

If anyone has the Simpsons page a day calendar, one of the recent trivia questions was where did Homer plan on hiding his fugitive mother so nobody would find her?

Anyone here know that answer!
