It's Danny Elfman (what Tim Burton film doesn't have an Elfman score?), but it's more like an action film score than anything else. Elfman has written some great scores over the years and this one was good, but not among his greatest. You would have expected with "wonderland" in the title it would have some "whismy" to the score. What does everyone else thing?

I saw it on Saturday.
The film itself was very good, but not great, as Mindflipper says there are a few major characters missing. I did like the way he managed to bring both worlds together with the characters in Alice's last speech.
Just in case anyone bothers there is nothing at the end of the credits, we sat the whole way to the end. I did like the end credit surround growing though.

I went for 2D this weekend - on recommendation from you folks. I loved all the colors and costumes and such, so I'm glad we did go with 2D.
I give it two thumbs up! Better than the original for me, it was really nice to actually have a plot, but with lots of the fun craziness and wild characters.
So, why is a raven like a writing desk?

Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.
