But they said "some of them are cute" which I'm guessing you would never agree to?!mindflipper wrote:Praise be!!!! Re: Vinylmation
Some of them are OKAY. There are a few that I would get because of how well they were created but a good portion of them are cheesy and weird. I know I want to still try and get a keychain that was a Woody or Buzz one.

Actually, I ordered it from...shhh...ebay. It ended up costing about the same as I would pay if I went to the store to pick it up (and that's including the shippingNaCler wrote:It sounds like MmeLeota ordered it on DS.com and is eagerly awaiting with antici...pation! Trust me, MmeLeota, I know the feeling! We picked some up the other day and it was hard enough to wait until we got home to open them! Also, I drank a little more Kool-aid and finally caved last Friday buying 2 Muppets (my first ones) and a couple of the Cutesters Too series (ONLY because my wife likes them!). I can't wait until we get ours in the mail as well.
Also, this Friday @ 3am Eastern they will release the Disney Afternoon Series Kit/Baloo combo for $24.95. It's limited edition of 1000 and it's pretty safe to say it will sell out. If you wanted this, you better set the alarm or go to bed late if you are on the Left Coast!
I think I might have to try for the Kit/Baloo set...TaleSpin was my fave of the Disney Afternoon cartoons! (followed very closely by Gummi Bears, DuckTales and Chip & Dale RR

MmeLeota - There's no problem with getting your vm's from Ebay. I just got one for my son cheaper on Ebay than it is currently selling on DS.com including the shipping. Also, the Kit/Baloo set has been pushed back to release on March 5, which is a Saturday. I'm pretty sure this one will sell out so make sure you are on DS.com at Midnight (Saturday morning) Pacific time if you really want to get this one.
My boxes from DS.com came yesterday, I got these:
Smores (Actually, the only one I like in the series):

Kid in squirrel costume (I don't like this one and will add it to my traders for the March trip):

Mushroom/bugs (This was my wife's favorite, so I'm glad we got it):

Muppets, we got Ms. Piggy and Rizzo:

MmeLeota - I didn't really want Ms. Piggy so if you need her and you get one you don't want, just let me know and I'll be happy to trade with you.

Amy - I know... the pins got me many years ago as well. But, I have vowed not to get that bad this time.
It least when we get tired of these, we can sell them and all is not totally wasted.

Re: Vinylmation
mf - Definitely... In fact I still have quite a few left. I need to get in gear and get those things sold so that I can support my NEW addiction...
I just meant that I bought every new pin out there to boast that I had the newest hardest to find ones. For VM, I'm ONLY collecting the ones that I like and trade away the rest.

So you're going to finance your current addiction with the proceeds from sale of your past addiction?NaCler wrote:mf - Definitely... In fact I still have quite a few left. I need to get in gear and get those things sold so that I can support my NEW addiction...

Re: Vinylmation
It's addictions everywhere! I'd probably browse eBay for the ones I want or if I buy one from the Disney store and it's one I don't care for, I can always send it to one of you guys.

Hmmmmmm, sounds like everyone need to start posting what's available to trade on here...
be cheaper than buying it on Ebay if you can trade with someone else on Subsonic.

Re: Vinylmation
I'm up for it as long as Subsonic gives us his blessing. There is another popular site that promotes trading/selling out there, but I don't want this place to become overrun by that.
