Re: The Return of Subsonic Fantasy Football
I'm sitting here watching RED ZONE and I started thinking about my brother Louie. A few years ago Baloo and I were in a pool on-line with a bunch of friends. In the three years of the pool Baloo and I finished in the money all three years. I actually finished in first two times and second once, Baloo and I finished one two twice.
It was a few years ago when you could get unlimited request one Sub. On Sunday morning I would request three to five hours worth of stuff on Sub get my coffee, six ounce Coke glass of Rum and call Louie, he was also in a pool. In his pool you only had to pick six games, in ours you pick all of them and the spread counted. Louie and I would go over our picks. I knew that if he liked a team I had to go the other way. He was terrible, I mean Louie couldn't pick the winner in a one team game. I had weeks where I picked fifteen winners and he didn't get one!! I never did tell him that one of the reasons I did so good was because I picked against him every time, but hey it always worked.
I think of those days now and wish I could bring them back! I Love You BROTHER!! You will always be in my HEART!!! You passed much to young!! Louie Jacca 1946 - 2012

So sorry to hear of your loss. Be happy to have those memories and cherish them forever. Losing someone close is one of the toughest things.Jacca5660 wrote:I'm sitting here watching RED ZONE and I started thinking about my brother Louie. Re: The Return of Subsonic Fantasy Football
Why won't it let me drop and add a player?

Waivers. All players are on waivers until 3AM eastern Wednesday. You can put in for people on waivers, but actual add/drop will process on Wednesday at 3AM. The league was like this yesterday.Jacca5660 wrote:Why won't it let me drop and add a player?

If I only have one kicker, and he is on a bye week, I'm just out of luck for a kicker this week right?

Re: The Return of Subsonic Fantasy Football
There is no "list" the available players are just all on waivers until 3AM. They will then all kick to free agents where you can add/drop at will. The purpose of the waiver lock out rule is to allow a fair chance at picking up the players who break out mid season, take over for someone who fails to perform, or replace someone who gets injured. If the waiver time was not on then one person could easily sit at home and add these players as it is happening and leaving other managers (who can't be home at their computer on Sunday) out to dry. I've seen it done too many times in other leagues so that is why this is in place.Jacca5660 wrote:Where do I find the Waivers list??Len90 wrote:Waivers. That would be incorrect. Come tomorrow at 3AM you can add/drop as you please. If you are happy with your kicker you can pick up a second kicker and drop someone else on your roster. Put your kicker on the bench for the week and use whoever you pick up. If you really feel the need to get a kicker through waivers than you can have it done for you at 3AM by putting in the waiver. My theory, especially with kickers, DB, and DL is that when byes come along you are best filling that spot as the person you make the move for can make the difference between winning and losing.Amy wrote:If I only have one kicker, and he is on a bye week, I'm just out of luck for a kicker this week right?
