Whoops, I read your post to mean that you were able to pick up some players Jacca...not that you had lost players you already had

Sorry...
Len really puts a lot of effort into making this a fun activity. I'm sure he isn't rooting against you in any way...well, other than to hope that his team beats yours ~ but hey, aren't we all pulling for our own teams?

I'm sure there are a lot of players out there that are ready to be snatched up. I even traded one of my guys already that has an injury and is ineligible to play for the first 6 weeks. If I can do it, you can do it Jacca! Hang in there

I'm telling you, the dark horse sometimes gallops up from behind...I've seen it happen before!

A quick reminder to everyone that tomorrow is the start of the regular season. Please be sure to check your line-ups as players who will be playing tomorrow lock into place. Secondly, yahoo came out with a new waiver setting for this season that I am going to try out as I think it allows managers the ability to make a last minute move while still keeping an emphasis on the waiver system. Players will switch over to waivers at the start of their game and will remain on waivers until Tuesday at 11:59 PT. So a player who is on the Giants or Cowboys will go to waivers at kickoff and remain on waivers while those on the Monday night game will go to waivers at the start of their respective games. I hope this works out better for the league.
Finally I am opening up the playoff setup for discussion. Currently it is set up like previous years for the first 6 teams to make it with first and second getting the bye in week 14. I can change this to 8 teams making it and having no bye week. Let me know if you want to change that or leave it the way it is.
With all of that out of the way, I wish everyone a magical season.

I agree ~ let a few more teams duke it out. If first and second are really good, they should survive playing another week

I have a question, now that the first game is under our belts...do we get points for bench players during the games too, or only the players who aren't on the bench?

Only for the players that play. I have a question, Why can't I start Tebow as a RB/TE???

Players on your bench who played will show what their weekly points would have been. Those players are locked and can't be substituted in. Players that have not played and are on your bench can still be moved around.
Jacca: Tim Tebow is only listed as a QB on yahoo so he can't be plugged into a RB or TE slot.

Good to know Len. I was wondering why it showed points for bench players if those points didn't count...

New question. I have a player on the bench that has their game on Monday. Can he be put into the line up tonight for that game tomorrow, or am I risking losing points in that position that I already gained during games today?

Once a player's game begins he is locked in. Thus if he was one of your starters you get whatever he got. If he was a bench player you will not get any points from him. You cannot put someone who plays tomorrow into a spot that has a player who played today.
