Opps clicked the wrong one. Mine should really be Aladdin's A Whole New World. My reason, for freshman history in High School (Academic Modern World History) we learn about ancient arabic history. To help influence the topic, the teacher showed us Aladdin and had us pay attention to how Disney incorporated some of these ideas. The best part was when it came up to the scene where they sing A Whole New World, the entire class (including myself) sang along.
The following year during HSPA testing, which is a statewide test for 11th grade students, the 9th and 10th graders take a shorter practice test. We got done about an hour to two hours before the HSPA would end so the teacher brought in movies. One of those movies happened to be Aladdin. Once again there was the same result during A Whole New World. In fact, my class got yelled at for making too much noise during that scene.
So all in all, I love Philarmagic since it incorporates my favorite classic song with many other greats like the Circle of Life, Part of Your World, and some others.
