Well then, when I dropped one of my kickers that tore his ACL (or so the bulletin said) it showed right there on the page that the waiver would show/be effective on week 3. I don't know how many waivers we can have though.

Okay seems like a bit of confusion between waivers and trades right now.

Moves: Each team is allowed to make 50 add/drop moves throughout the 13 week season and 3 week playoffs.

Trades: There is NO limit on the amount of trades you can make. However, once both teams agree to a trade there will be a two day delay so the other 10 managers can vote to allow or disallow the trade to go through.

Waivers: A player is on waivers when one team drops him or the week's games have begun. When you drop someone, they will be on waivers for two days OR until the following Wednesday if that would occur during weekly waivers. Any manager can still try to pick up this player but you may not get him or her. This is where the importance of the waiver number comes in. The original order was the reverse draft order, but that has since changed as managers have made some moves. The team with the highest smallest number (ie 1 is the best number to have) gets priority on the players on waivers. If nobody puts in a claim for a player (wants to add that player and drop another) they will clear to Free Agents either after the two days or weekly waivers. When you add someone from waivers, your waiver number will be 12 and everyone who had a larger number than you will move down.

Honestly, I dont know how.. I have never done any fantasy football before.. I hate to say it but I am kidna stupid and need someone to help walk me through it.

I'll give it a try figgy, I'm sorta new too...but it is pretty easy once you get around to clicking the right buttons!
First go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/ (that was my biggest problem for the longest time, could never remember the site )
then select MY TEAM at the top
You'll see options for ADD and DROP right there on the top, select that
The next screen that comes up will have your roster with little check boxes to the right of each player. If there isn't a check box, I don't think you can do anything with them for this week.
Select the player you want to drop, then I believe the screen comes up that asks if you also want to add a player. You can search by position or name just like during the draft (or pre-draft in your case), find your player, add them and voila! Make sure you save the changes, otherwise they won't take. Plus it seems to take a week for the add/drop to go through. It will tell you on the screen which week the change will show up.

Uh... okay.. I have three empty spots and it says that I have three waivers.. so.. it.. uh.. takes three weeks for them to come in?

I am sorry I just really dont get this whole thing.. I dunno if I even did it right.. I was changing the one who had high actual rankings.. is that what you are looking for? the number after the projected rankings?

Ok you dropped Peyton Manning but now you have no QB and you have an empty wide receiver spot. Luckily you have Sidney Rice to move to that WR spot. What you need to do is pick up a QB. Under the Players tab, click player list. Where it says position, click on QB and get whoever you want. Just make sure they aren't injured. Oh and pick up one backup for each position so you aren't screwed on a bye week for any of your players...

Once tomorrow morning comes around all players not claimed on waivers will kick back to free agents and add drops can be done instantaneously until Sunday at 1 pm eastern.
