Phew, I got this resolved. I did log into D23 but you had to fill out a form and wait...did some additional searching and found an 800#. I called at 11:00 at night and they were still working

They were very helpful and within a few minutes I had my number - a 16 digit one as mindflipper had said. Thanks!

Thanks ~ I did! They are announcing the winners May 1st ~ I'll be sure and post in this thread the results ~ good

or bad

I'm so glad I found the 800# too because the email that got sent to customer service, was answered quite nicely and with the membership number, but it came a little more than an hour after the contest deadline

May need to share that 1-800 number with the rest of us, Amy. Good luck on the competition.

Once I locate that little slip of paper I will share it on here - and thanks for the good luck wishes...because...
drumroll please....
I was one of the winners! I am curious how many people submitted a short story actually...hoping that in the next D23 article it will have some info on the contest and all...All I know is that the rules stated there were to be 23 winners and the prize was a copy of Kingdom Keepers 3 signed by the author ~ which arrived via Fed Ex today

now I just have to get my mitts on the first 2 books in the series before I delve into this one...

Congratulations Amy - maybe having the luck to get into the competition at the last minute is the same luck that made you win?

Yeah, we'll go with that ~ Sounds much better than I knew about it for almost 2 weeks and procrastinated...

Most definitely ~ called the library yesterday to try to locate the first two in the series...going to have to get them through interlibrary loan so it might be a while...sounds like a good idea to read them in order though...

Anybody entering the current D23 contest - Disney Moment to Treasure? Deadline is 5/20 but early in the morning, so it is kinda more like 5/19...Anyhow, after my last procrastinating for the "What would you do if you spent the night in a Disney park entry", I wrote this one early, proofed it, thought on it awhile and got it in today - a full 4 days early!
