As far as I know, no "ride" was removed from the Land. Food Rocks is no more, if that's what you are referring to.rcpratt3 wrote:I am so glad the got rid of the ride in the Land pavillion....can you say BORING!

I agree, the World of Motion was great. It was a family ride that everyone can enjoy. I like Test Track, but anyone with small children can't enjoy it as a family. 8)rich wrote:I'm shocked that World of Motion is even on the list. I loved that ride.
My vote would be for the boat ride in The Land pavilion.

Living with the Land is still there [and not boring], Food Rocks is gone, and unfortunately the Lion King show is still there [that is boring]kgmadorin wrote:As far as I know, no "ride" was removed from the Land. Food Rocks is no more, if that's what you are referring to.

Re: you haven't heard....
I rode IASW for the first time in years this past weeken. I wanted to see the rehab. I thought it looked really nice, the colors are more vibrant, the music inside seems to be toned down a bit, and it wasn't as bad as I remember. The clock outside still tic toc tic toc's loudly though. The que area has totally changed and looks really nice.sockfire wrote:You haven't heard IASW all that long. Try an 8 hour shift on that ride, 5 days a week. After a while you don't hear the song any more. What drove me nuts was the ticking of the clock. TICK..... TOCK......
Just because it make you sick doesn't mean its a bad ride...Disneynut wrote:My vote is for The Mad Tea Party Teacups, I can handle any kind of rollercoaster but the teacups make me sick.
I remember as a kid being spun so much it felt like the teacup was leaning 45 degrees. It was so disoreinting, and in a way fun, but I didnt get sick. Its not on the list of must not miss rides, but its not a horrible one either.

Yeah, but I don't think getting sick would encourage most people to categorize it as a "good" ride, either.Gizmata wrote: Just because it make you sick doesn't mean its a bad ride...

The Aladdin musical is definitaly worth seeing. Tower of Terror, Soarin' Over Ca, Ca Screamin, are also worth going on. Unfortunately those are the only attractions I ever go on(more than once). But I do enjoy chilling in the Animation bldg.zenmondo wrote:I have never been on a Disney ride I didn't like.
But my last visit to Disneyland WAS 14 years ago, so it was a time when both Tomorrowland and the Parking Lot were still intact.
Is there anything at DCA worth seeing? It seems to me to be the least "Disney" of all the parks.

I have got to go back into the past for this one. My vote is for the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride. Long lines due to subs that were out of commission didn't help and some of the underwater scenes and animatronic fish were lame by Disney standards in my opinion. Since the ride closed over a decade ago a lot of people my never have ridden it. But it is one ride that I don't miss at all!
