I have been noticeing more and more "employees" not "cast members".MmeLeota wrote:That was the response from a CM????? My jaw hit the floor when I read that! It is pathetic and sick that a WDW CM isn't aware of who Roy Disney was...His reply was, "some guy named Roy died."
RIP Roy E. Disney

I notice many -not all - of the "younger generation" just don't go for recent history. I'm amazed how many have never watched a black & white movie or black & white TV show. I actually had one at work that was totally unaware that there was a time that TV was never in color. Many people never watch or look at anything that pre-dates them. I don't know why...
This is the end of an era for whom's greatness will never again be realized. Roy E. Disney pictured to the far right was a shining beacon of hope for those of us that appreciate and respect the Disney legacy. RIP Roy and we only pray that some of that Disney magic remains alive and well in those that you encountered and entrusted with the Disney vision that your late uncle first had.

Amen. Well said. Let's hope those in charge now will stop and think about that legacy and make an effort to return to all that it stands for.GhostHost wrote:This is the end of an era for whom's greatness will never again be realized.
