Well,
this intro probably had something to do with ingraining it into the minds of a generation. (Also, note that with this show, Walt Disney invented the Discovery Channel. Also NASA.)

main street area music. i know i'm at disney when i walk into main street and hear those old classics. i get this warm & bubbly feeling inside, it feels like home.
