Ooohh, I will need to stop into D street and buy a new retro (?) Iron Man shirt then. I have not been able to locate my old one.

There's a whole thread over there somewhere. I'm keeping my guns on me just in case they are trying to round us up.

Re: Vinylmation
Well, we are a three vinylmation household now. I stopped at the Disney store to see if they had the sale that some had mentioned on here...they did not, grrrrr.
But the first Nightmare Before Christmas box I picked up was Jack ~ my Mom's favorite (as well as mindflipper's I think
) I couldn't believe my luck so I looked some more and there was actually another Jack, and one lonely Zero who I think is kinda adorable. I did not get either of those since there were more that caught my eye on the top shelf. The mystery boxes ~ Toy Story 3! Now...Buzz is another favorite of my Mom so I decided to try Mouskedude's strategy of heaviest box has Buzz with his helmet. I weighed several, downloaded an app to my iphone and tried that with very little success
, finally narrowed the boxes down to 3 and asked a kindly passer-by lady for her opinion. After explaining what I was up to (since she looked at me like I was a little strange!
) she quickly got into the spirit and excluded one box right away for feeling too light. Then gave her opinion on the remaining two boxes. I hedged my bet and bought both thinking I would weigh them when I got home before I gifted them. Well, that never happened, so tonight as I was giving the first one to Mom, she ripped into the box right away
My small gasp of horror registered with her before she completely had the box opened and she asked if she wasn't supposed to open it yet. I told her she might as well now
A short discussion later, she consented to opening the box but not the interior bag. Feeling the contents, I have decided it is probably Woody, but it could be Jessie as there definitely seems to be a hat ~ but no helmet
so it definitely isn't Buzz. There was no way she was drawing any further ire by opening the second TS3 box tonight, and she has decided she can see Jack just fine in his little windowed box. If she ever opens any of them, I will share a photo

I can't wait to see the photo! I keep getting tempted to buy a Vinylmation mini keychain because I want to get a little Woody or Buzz one.

I wish they had the little keychains here...the big ones are too expensive for me to buy "just to see what we get"!elizabethswann wrote:I can't wait to see the photo! I keep getting tempted to buy a Vinylmation mini keychain because I want to get a little Woody or Buzz one.
I never saw the keychains at WDW either, although I did get my Mom a Figment vinylmation key cover that is sort of cute.

Well, the Herbie arrived in the mail last night, so now all four of them are proudly displayed in her "hall of shame" (what I call the area in the upstairs foyer that is packed full of Disney collectibles).
Now if we could find a Yeti and get an R2-D2, our collection will be complete, as far as we intend on taking it.
