Wow one day in and already 7 teams signed up. I am really happy to see all of the creative team names for this year's theme. Great job everyone since I thought restaurants could be a bit tricky but we are pulling it off.

Once again, I suggest looking over the settings and scoring. If you have any suggestions to change things around for this year, please speak up before the draft on Aug. 28th.

Thanks I just noticed that when I checked the league this afternoon. I have it set for to allow new members to join as yahoo reserved all 12 slots for the returning managers from last year and I didn't want anybody closed out.

Once again I'm interested in all ideas to improve for this year. So far I've been considering putting all players on waivers for the weekend. Please send me an email, pm, or even post a message on the league board or here with any ideas you might have.

OK, it's the first day of summer and the football season may not started on time, but I'm sitting doing research!

LOL I've started to realize that no matter how much research you do, you can't predict everything that happens. There is always the unseen fantasy studs and duds. Secondly, the injuries are unpredictable.

You better all watch out because the T-rex Ryan Cafe puts the foot in football. Feet are our specialty!

Well, the Sunshine Season RKTs are going to crunch you all with goodness! :P
Is the football strike over yet? Will we have a season if they aren't playing?!

If there is no football season then there is no fantasy football season. I honestly think there will be football this year so we should hopefully be good.

We still have two open spaces in the league. Anyone is welcome to join!!!!

This was the join-up info for last year, I don't know if it is the same or not, I think so. Good luck!

I was a newbie too! Um, I believe you can go ahead and make a draft list, that way the computer will automatically make the choices for you once the draft begins if you are not available. Sorry, I haven't done much beyond getting my team signed up yet this time around. I'm sure the others will chime in with more help!

The draft is currently set To be on Aug. 28th at 6:45 PM EASTERN. if you can make the draft you don't have to do anything until draft day but test your system. If your system works you'll be good to go. On draft day the draft room will open up about 30-45 minutes before the scheduled start time. I recommend getting in early as there could be issues with yahoo slowing down and thus making things take a bit longer. If you want to do some research or are unable to make the live draft you can pre draft rank your players as late as 45 minutes before the scheduled draft start time. If you fail to pre rank players you will get auto picked by the computer and may not be as happy with your team. Nobody will ever be outta luck as the free agents and waiver pick-ups can make a weak team strong midway through the season.

As for the league. There is one more spot available and then we will be full for the season. As I've been saying check out the roster positions, scoring, and settings. If you would like to change something let me know as everything will have to be done before the draft date. I personally want to put all players to waivers during the weekends so waiver priority has a purpose. I'm also thinking about instituting bonus points for players who rush over 100 yds. or have over 100yds. receiving in a game. Email me or post it up on the league discussion board!!!!

Does yahoo have a plan just in case the lock out continues?
