License plates and other car embellishments

Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

Nice sticker there! And I'm with Amy; there's a lack of a Disney license plate. ;)

Thanks, pals!
Amy, the frog is molded rubber with a magnet to hold him on. He looks very real. I love frogs.
As far as Disney plates.... hmmmm.... might have to look into that. :D
The compliments came from a family we know who are also Disney freaks like us. Also, a young lady who is an acquaintance of mine really liked it. For all you men out there, let me just say this: the ladies really love it when a guy is man enough to put a pink Mickey decal on his macho truck. Just sayin'.... 8-)

Macho, macho men! ;)
You should look into plates though...I know they vary widely by state, but Michigan only charges $15/year for personalized plates. Well worth the grin every time you see someone in your rearview mirror checking out your Disney-fied ride ;)

Yes! M-dude needs a Disney plate!!! 8-) I know Indiana does not charge alot for personalized plates. All of our cars have Purdue and my Hyundai's personalized. I think it's well worth it M-dude!
Now we just need something clever Disney for him to put on there!!! We should start a contest....

Actually Toyota still makes a fantastic product. We have a 2005 4Runner V8 with 90,000+. The truck runs great and hasn't given us an ounce of trouble. We also have a pair of Lexus (2007 GX470 and 2010 RX350). They are really just fancy Toyotas. The X is the nickname I have given the 2007 MDX.

Okay here are some pictures of my baby. First up is from the last time I gave her the works. Full wax and shine. BTW: I never let the car wash touch my tires, rims, and interior. I do all that work by myself. There are times when I will rip apart the entire car to vaccum it.

Anybody see the Mickey decal?

Mark snuck down one night and made it seem like a few Disney characters were going out for a joy ride

I'll post some of the interior shots after I get it clean again. Don't have any on my computer of it.

I will post a pic of my Pluto bobble head and other disney items in my truck tomorrow. Here is a pic of my baby: 2005 4Runner at a destination she knows quite well. I think my truck can drive there without me.

You guys crack me up!!!  I did not notice the Ann Taylor store!

Len: you sound like me with my cars! I'm super anal and insist on doing all of the work myself! I refuse running my vehicles through car washes or letting brushes touch them! I like your ride Len, I've always been a fan of Acura! 8-) I like Mark's as well, my mom has the generation before that one. Glad to hear Toyota still makes a great product. My mom's Runner is a 2000 and still running strong with over 100,000. Low miles, really.

Ok, here's my baby, she has many nicknames Black Beauty, Sally....I'm not sure how you guys are able to block out your license plate #'s, so I won't be able to post a pic. of my pony's rear, which is actually her best feature, the exhaust! 8-) If someone can tell me how to edit that out, I can post another pic.

Oooo, she's pretty b-babe! My brother once pointed out that your license plate is one of the easiest pieces of info to find out so there isn't much point in blocking it out unless you really want to do that. He has photos of his Jeep on his blog with various projects, and I asked him once about whether he should have his plate blocked out. I show my plates proudly since they are Disney-fied :mickey: But my buggy is quite dirty and buggy at the moment so no photos :(

They're using some kind of photoshop editor that allows them to add an object that can cover the license plate number, or using an effect like blur to obscure it.
