Jack is quite hard to find. I tried looking at the DLR both at one store in Frontierland and at the World of Disney store and he is nowhere to be found.

The one I bought for NaCler was $12 (excluding $4 shipping) off of Ebay, which was about the same price as Disney Store on-line but cheaper shipping. I just checked Ebay again and found the cheapest I can find now is $15 with $5 shipping. To me, Ebay was a bargain considering I could never find it my local Disney store.

I guess I should never have assumed you had found it at the park

No, considering I drove down that morning, checked into the hotel, dropped off my luggage to the room, and then took the bus to the WDW MK to meet the Mouskecouple at Casey's Corner - no spare time to hit a store anywhere. And once we had met up, we went from ride to ride without once stopping to look in any stores. To be sure I had for the O'hana dinnner, I wanted it purchased before I got to WDW that day, just to be safe.

One would be very lucky to find Jack AT the parks. They have all the other characters there but Jack is like, what NaCler said, finding a needle in a haystack. Or a unicorn.

The cheapest I've found is $17 with $6.50 shipping :( Thinking the Momma will have to do without the ugly little critter

NaCler, I just want you to know that you are totally evil!! You got my sweetie hooked on these things!
That having been said, I gotta tell you that she just won an ebay bid for the "Herbie" one that she's been wanting all along, so now she has two of them. After a long, painful argument (which I lost, by the way...) I've finally agreed that she can have up to (and no more than...) six of those infernal things... as long as one of them is the R2-D2 (the only one besides the Herbie one that I actually think is cute...). So you can pat yourself on the back if you wish... my household will never be the same, thanks to you. (pretending to be angry here, but really only mildy annoyed...  ).

I will say that some of the Vinylmation creations are kind of a letdown. I'd get all excited to see if I'd get some exciting character or ride version and it'd be something bland.

Why would I be PROUD of such a thing??? ;) As long as YOU don't own any of them, then all is ok. :D

Yes I did... $5.99 for Park 3 Series. I'm all over that! Thanks for letting me know. ;)
