Alternatively, if you want him to stop complaining about the car he has, then you could always suggest a car that's worse than one he has now. How do you think he would feel about a Mini Cooper? Toyota Corolla? VW Golf? It's a shame that they still don't make Yugos any more...

*sniff, sniff* Ah the smell of testosterone...I seem to be hearing an awful lot of Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor grunting going on around here...Mousekedude wrote:My sincere condolences, bro. First round of MacAllan at WDW is on me.... Hey, you know what? If you can ever get down here for a visit, I'll let you drive my truck!

I would suspect that if we had a second car it would be a truck...hubby's doing of course

Hey ~ the mini Coopers are cute! That shouldn't be in the worse than the Turd categorymindflipper wrote:Alternatively, if you want him to stop complaining about the car he has, then you could always suggest a car that's worse than one he has now. We're talking about Boilerdude, who wants an american muscle car or giant AWD truck that would be the envy of any redneck here in the South. Trust me - the Mini-Cooper is the far opposite extreme from those categories...Amy wrote:Hey ~ the mini Coopers are cute! What in the heck is an agricultural gear box? Sounds like something I would be able to grow some lovely fruits and veges in while I'm driving alongSleepy90 wrote:...As for the Mini Cooper it is anything but Mini give me the original any day even with it's old agricultural gear box.

Yep, that's the spirit! Although I see more of the modern model of the Beetle on the roads than the original classics nowadays. And to be honest, I haven't seen a Fiat 500 except on TV (maybe it's an European car?). We really need an american ANTI-muscle car/truck...Sleepy90 wrote:A few more the VW Beetle the original yes it's still a classic but the new one definitely chick drive.mindflipper wrote:We're talking about Boilerdude, who wants an american muscle car or giant AWD truck that would be the envy of any redneck here in the South. Re: License plates and other car embellishments
The point is if you boilerdude the option of a car that is soooooo totally opposite of what he would really love to have, then it will make him rather stick with the Turd for now....
Re: License plates and other car embellishments
HaHa it's a gearbox out of a tractor, although it would be a warm as a greenhouse no a/c in those days and the original did not have a sunroof.Amy wrote:What in the heck is an agricultural gear box? I've never heard of the Chevy you mentioned, but I find the PT Cruisers to be uglySleepy90 wrote:HaHa it's a gearbox out of a tractor, although it would be a warm as a greenhouse no a/c in those days and the original did not have a sunroof.Amy wrote:What in the heck is an agricultural gear box? Isn't that a Daewoo "re-branded" with a Chevy name? I don't think they're marketed here (I've not seen them around here).
Name changing happens alot with cars. Some american cars are re-named when sold in Europe.

I understand what you're saying mindflipper
B-dude will stick with the Turd for now b/c it will allow us to get back to Disney!!!
And I've seen some Daewoo around here but they are older. Funny, b/c I just saw one when I was driving into work yesterday!!! What are the odds?!

All the PT Cruiser is, is a Dodge Neon with a different chassis.. Literally.

Re: License plates and other car embellishments
Yea that's the one. I used to have one it was like a little roller skate on wheels 900cc engine but when you turned the a/c on the speed got hit, fantastic thing to park though tiny spaces R us.mindflipper wrote:Isn't that a Daewoo "re-branded" with a Chevy name?
