After thinking about it for a while, I think it's unreasonable for me to come up with my "favorite" detail, so I'll just pop a few off the top of my head, one from each WDW park:
1. The way the beams in the prison scene at the end of Pirates appear to be glowing like embers.
2. I don't care much for the MGM park at all, but I like the smoke that comes out of Dinosaur Gertie's nostrils.
3. The fiberoptics embedded in the sidewalk in Future World in Epcot.
4. The "reveal" of the Tree of Life in the Animal Kingdom. I love how the entrance is set up with those windy paths, and then all of a sudden, BAM!, you can see that huge impressive tree.
If I had to pick something from Disneyland, it would be the weasel conversation in the queue at Roger Rabbit's.

On the surface there is hunger and fear. Men still exercise unjust laws. They fight, tear one another to pieces. A mere few feet beneath the waves their reign ceases, their evil drowns. Here on the ocean floor is the only independence.

My kids love that part! Especially that little mexican man when he is showing off the moracas and he "accidently" hits himself in the head.Blue Fairy wrote:Oh yes!I'm thrilled to hop on a little boat on the Mexico World Showcase, just to watch the Mexican man (or woman) pretending to be running after the boat to sell you something...
That's pretty childish and unexplainable, I know but I can't help it!!!

I could never think of one thing. I just love the whole atmosphere. From the minute you get to the hotal to check in, right up to when you leave you are made to feel special. Everything is done to make the guests feels welcome and it seems like nothing is too much trouble for them. All the little extras really come together.
One of my favourite things as a child ws rushing to get back to the room after a day in the park to see what the toys were up to. Our maid used to arrange our cuddly toys so that they were playing cards, going sailing, having a picnic etc. There was no reason to do that, but it is something that i always remember when i think about disney.

Stitch is Back!!!
My favorite details are all of the Hidden Mickeys.. I love em. I try not to read any spoilers and my wife and I love trying to outdo each other finding new ones in the world!

My favorite is the Tower of Terror queue in Disney MGM. It really feels like you are going through a deserted hotel that still kept all its nuances and trinkets. The music they use is fabulous. And I've notice that for the preshow the audio is coming from the TV up until the last "The Twilight Zone" where it's coming from speakers in the room. It's about the only time those speakers are used, but it adds so much.

I so miss DLR Fantasy land buildings having steam comming from the chimneys. This was most obvious from the Skyway and since that is long gone I have yet to see the boiler working, it made things seem more alive.
I also remember Mr Toad having steam in the fireplace and the "Hell" but haven't seen that in a while.
On the tone of things being alive, a empty People Mover is another really nice touch. Its motion and added feeling to tomorrowland is tough to describe, but is saddly missed.
