Haha. Oh noes- YRP as chibi fairies! I like Paine's wings though. Sephiroth, huh? That guy was so hard to beat in the first game. I wanna sing along to Passion, but it's in Japanese and some parts sound backwards.

I just hope that you don't fight him, it's just a scene with Cloud Advent Children style fighting.

Oh, okay then. I'm not too keen on the AC character designs.

Oh but the fight scenes were so cool. I like the designs, I mean Yuffie doesn't look annoying. (I hate Yuffie)

I think it's mostly the guys that look weird. Tifa looks quite pretty.

I have seen the opening of KH2 since it is now realesed in Japan, the song fits perfectly, they changed a bit of the song but it works. The animation for it is the same as Advent Children. And Donald and Goofy look great.

Awesome! I gotta hunt around for that, or ask my brother about it. He's into KH more than I am.

the release date keeps getting pushed back, it seems. The original date was December 1. Then, moved to March 1. Now, it's March 30. They need to pick a date already so the die-hard fans among us can finally rest (after playing, that is)

Ha, well they also need to release FFXII and Advent Children, I have been holding AC for awhile now.

I have also seen pics for the Tron world.

So the current release date is March 30th?

apparently. That's the ship date for EB games (according to the website). Also, looking at best buy's website, it says April 1. So, I have no idea what the truth is anymore.

My opinion is that they are done with the game, but with the hype about the game is forcing the manufacturer of the discs to produce more discs to ship out. I don;t think they'd keep giving out new dates if they still had work to do on the game. About the only thing they may still be working on is dialog with the voice talent, but if they're still working on that now, they're really slacking...

April 1st Must be a joke  I say they are waiting until POTC 2 comes out to co-inside with the movie release.

Its not just the voice talent, but they re-animate all the cut scenes so they are lip-synced to the english dialog, instead of keeping the animation from the Japanese dialog.

I have a friend who has a Japanese PS2 and has played it. It won't be long for the states yet. I am sure the March 30 date is accurate.

I haven't played Chain of Memories, is it important to the story? Can someone give me a short synopsis of it?

Yay! Videogames! My favorite subject! :D

I really, really wanted to like the first game, but it was a serious struggle to keep from falling asleep from boredom. The final straw came at the Monstro level, which was about as fun as having a root canal, and I ended up stopping at that point. (This especially hurt since I was so sure I would love it that I bought the GBA game to play the moment I beat the PS2 game, both of which are now collecting dust.) I don't know what's with the game, but the control was horrid, the gameplay dull and repetitive, and the constant running around and backtracking to "trigger" a sequence before you could continue the game... And, my god! The Gummi levels! THE GUMMI LEVELS!

About the only cool thing about it was that it was a game that my daughters liked to watch as I played it. :D

I remember the old days when Disney games were -quality-. When Mickey's Castle of Illusions actually pushed console boundaries in terms of graphics and sound. Even the old Nintendo games like Duck Tales and Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers were lovingly crafted to be a blast. Now it sort of feels like all the games are rushed out the door to cash in on the name, and even one with high production values from one of the greatest RPG designers in the world still feels like it was left unpolished.

Except Mickey Magical Racing Quest. Even though the kart game doesn't measure up to the greats like MarioKart, and though it doesn't have much in the way of Disney characters (seriously? Jiminy Cricket is all?), it's still an undeniable blast to race through Disney World rides, complete with theme songs, audio clips, and actual ride moments. ESPECIALLY Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean! :)
