I guess we'll just lump you into the "zombie-mix"mindflipper wrote:I thought Amy was referring to the ZOMBIES as being dain-bread...I mean brain-dead....

Not into the whole Zombie thing, but I did like Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp, who I will be glad to see in POTC4! (See how I twisted this back on to topic?)

To be honest, I'm glad they're not adding Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley into this. Their story is done so they have the time to focus the movie solely on Jack. I'll probably wait it out until I can watch it online.

It centers on Jack, but he's not alone as we got Barbossa back too and added Blackbeard as well (to be played by Ian McShane).

Yeah for bringing back Barbossa! Do you think they will find more lines from the ride for him to quote? And did I see Jack's dear old Dad is back again or was that my imagination?

Blackbeard looks to be promising and Ian McShane is a real good actor so we'll see how this goes.mindflipper wrote:It centers on Jack, but he's not alone as we got Barbossa back too and added Blackbeard as well (to be played by Ian McShane).

Yep, it looks like Keith Richards is back for at least a cameo playing the role of Captain Teague. Just remember not to say "Hang the Code" in front of him.jlpeaches255 wrote:mindflipper wrote:It centers on Jack, but he's not alone as we got Barbossa back too and added Blackbeard as well (to be played by Ian McShane).

And I agree, elizabethswann, that Ian McShane is a good actor so he should hopefully turn in a good performance.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides
I'd just like to voice how much I hate that Pirates of the Caribbean 4 has nothing to do with the first 3. I feel like it's not going to do as well as we'd like it to. Hopefully i'll be pleasantly surprised.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides
Honestly, I am glad that POTC4 has nothing much to do with POTC3 - I thought the third was the worst of the batch. Many critics felt that way, and many fans were disappointed with POTC3. POTC4 is meant to be a "re-boot" of the series getting back to the pirates and away from the Swann/Turner storyline that POTC2 and POTC3 centered on too much.

I didn't like the third one either, mindflipper. It dragged on and got ridiculous.

The third one makes WAY more sense if you are actually drinking rum.
