Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

Hello, my name is Mark and I am a mouseaholic. Thank you everybody for being so understanding!
Seriously, that is a great story. My brother introduced me to this website in case anybody was wondering.

Hey there, Mark! Good to see you posting! Goodness knows we give your poor brother enough headaches on here, so glad you could come on board again and take up some of the heat for yourself.
Only one thing, though: you can't be a mouseoholic. That's my DW's username on the boards. But you can be a Disneyoholic!

Most people around here have never been to disney world. When they find out I'm into disney they usually say something to try and impress me like, "so disney world is in florida and disneyland is in California right?" Then they smile really big because there so proud of themselves.

I find when people find out I'm a big Diser, they talk Disney down. It's just so absurd! My favorite line goes like "I been there and there's not much to do. It's waste of money". Why do people seem to want to rain on your parade?

"Our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them" WED
"There's a fine prow on that steamer, let's climb aboard her!" Fireside
"You're off the map mateys..Here there be SeaMonsters!!"
The original "LICENSE MAYHEM MARAUDER!!

My best friend was just in town and I met her new husband....he was poo pooing Disney and get this...he's NEVER been! My BF was looking at one of our D23 magazines and saying how much she'd love to go back to Disney, and get this, he said "not with me!" What a poop! I don't think he'd know a good time if it jumped up and bit him the

So glad my DH shares my same insanity and love for the Mouse! So glad we have the support of all of my Subsonic family too!

Hmmm..a typical mouskobliviot party pooper...
I agree about being thankful to have a second half who is as much of a Disney freak as I am!

I've always been the "strange" one...it's nice to fit in for a change.

My DH is not a Dis freak like I am but at least he is supportive.
Every time we come back from the World, he always says "Next time lets go somewhere other than Disney for vacation." But then most of the time he will be the first one talking about booking the next Dis trip! He has even booked a couple of trips without telling me first. What a guy!

I would actually be quite proud of my friends if they knew that information..I've learned to not let it bother me...

Yeah that doesn't bother me either. What bothers me is when I say Disney World and people suddenly start talking about how much they love Universal!
