Incredibles & bloopers
Has Pixar ever let you down? The Incredibles is yet another masterpiece.
I think perhaps the bloopers are related to the writing team since they are all scripted bloopers. Maybe they just wanted to stop doing that before it got old. Leave people wanting more.

It's not that Pixar let me down. They've never failed to amaze me with the complex animation that they do. It's just that the bloopers they used to do enhanced the experience that much more. Even though the humor within the movie was great, the bloopers at the end left me in a fit of hysterics cause some of them are great (ie - in A Bug's Life, the pill bugs burping contest ). would've been great to see te bloopers that might have been at the end of Incredibles.sockfire wrote:Has Pixar ever let you down? thats right. i wasnt sure, but didnt they do that for monsters inc when that was in theatres?G2-4T wrote:If you watch how they do it the movie is out for a month or so before the bloopers reel shows up. It is all about the marketing, they get you back for a second time [or third or...] to see the out takes. SO you never know, they may show up in the Incredibles.

what they did for both Toy Story movies, A Bug's Life, and I think Monsters, inc was released the movie with one set of bloopers, then half-way through the showings (like a month or two after the release), release a whole new set of bloopers. which makes you want to go and see the movie again for the new set.
But like js3901 said, it wasn't in Nemo at ALL. Even after Nemo was out for a few months. Hopefully this isn't the case with The Incredibles.G2-4T wrote:If you watch how they do it the movie is out for a month or so before the bloopers reel shows up. It seems like Pixar can do no wrong. I think that all of their movies are good to varying degrees perhaps, but all good all the same.sockfire wrote:Has Pixar ever let you down? The Incredibles is yet another masterpiece.
What's with Dreamworks?? It is twice now that they've produced computer animated films shortly after Pixar's that seem to closely resemble Pixar's. First, it was "Ants", just after "A Bug's Life", and then "Shark's Tale" just after "Finding Nemo". In both cases, Dreamworks' films were much worse! I don't know what they're thinking.

I've enjoyed all the Pixar films but haven't seen the Incrdibles yet.
Toy Story 1, 2, and Finding Nemo are my faves. The thing I like best about these films is that I can watch them over and over ( as I did when my neices came to town) and they never got old. Kids love them, but there is so much subtle humor and references just for adults.

IMO Prince of Egypt and the Shrek Movies are the only Dreamworks films worth talking about. At least Dreamworks is better than Warner Bro's Animation!!!! What do they have to brag about? Exactly, NOTHING!!!!!!!!js3901 wrote:Don't forget Shrek right after Monsters, inc.
amychester, go out... get all your freinds and family... and go see the Incredibles!!!!
BTW, I have 3 of the Incredibles' Happy Meal toys from McDonalds: Dash, Syndrome and Mr Incredibles' car!!!! I want to get them all but I think I missed 1 or 2 of them...

Has anyone ever noticed that the story of "A Bug's Life" is the exact same story as the old classic, "Seven Samuri"? I'm sure it is no concidence--the cast of character-types maps exactly between the movies, and the story follows the same pattern. Even the evil characters in "A Bug's Life" pose the same kind of threat as do the villians in "Seven Samuri"! It's an excellent adaptation!
