Saw Lion King here in LA and Beauty in NYC. The two best Broadway shows I've seen. Slight edge to Beauty because we had better seats and were able to see the facial expressions like when Belle turns down Gaston. Very funny moment.

I saw The Lion King in L.A. and it was amazing! I loved how the animals walked down the aisles!
I would love to see it again

SpaceyMounty, Lion King is coming back to the Pantages this November. I'm right there with you, would see it again in a heartbeat!

After seeing the broadway versions of Beauty and the Beast and Lion King, the movies just don't seem complete anymore. I love many of the songs they added specially for the shows.

I guess that's one thing about living a 25 minute train ride from NYC. I have seen both Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. I really want to see Tarzen, Phil Collins was on the radio the other morning taking about the nine new songs and revamping the original songs for the show. I can't wait to see it, Theatre has just gotten so expense!

I was able to see the LK in Birmingham. Wasn't looking forward to it but it blew me a way once I got there. :mickey:

I just got my tickets for Cincy. I can't wait. I may be heading to NYC next year to see at least Beauty and the Beast.

I found this awesome video on Youtube of the London version of the Mary Poppins stage musical. It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious(don't correct that spelling). The video isn't of the best quality, but it's pretty cool.

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

I have seen Lion King and it was great. I would love to see the others when they come to town.

I just got the CD for the Mary Poppins musical, it's really awesome! I have got "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" stuck in my head, especially the part where they are spelling it out. So now when I go to parties I can show off that I know how to spell it! :mickey:

Has anyone been to Mary Poppins yet? I'm going with my family in May and can't wait! If any of you have seen it, what did you think?

I saw Tarzan and Mary Poppins. Hoping to see Beauty and the Beast before it closes. Was going to go in Friday, but the weather cancelled that trip.

Can't wait for the Little Mermaid though!

Hooray! Now I really can't wait to see it. Mary Poppins is my mom's all time favorite movie so it's a really big deal for her. I think I'll just have to go around the house singing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious until we go!
