I hope not, but of course with all of the stuff that is going on right now I wouldn't be surprised if they just pushed back the date again. I think they will still make it.

It has definatly been scrapped. With John Lasseter in creative control of the animation studios this is unsurprising.

Shame.. I love the Toy Stories movies. It might have been a politcal move since Disney was planning to make the film without Pixar's blessing. Maybe in the future we will get a 3rd movie.

Personaly I hope with Lasseter at the helm, mining past hits and classics for sequel material will come to an end. Toy Story 2 was a rare exception, but I don't think there was enough there for a third and planned fourth installment.

Actually, Toy Story 2 was originally suppossed to be a direct to video sequel, but the story turned out so well, they decided to release it theatrically.
