We were hardcore a couple of years ago, but got busy doing other things and dropped it. Now that our oldest is reading, we picked it back up.

I'm addicted again!

Anyone else here play?

I've never played it myself but after seeing a commercial for it on the television yesterday it is pretty tempting.

I used to play it, haven't in years though. I also played the beta for Pirates of the Caribbean online.

I played POTC online for a bit. I guess I am spoiled because I am an avid World of Warcraft player, and POTCO just didn't really stack up-graphics wise, story wise, or just overall.

But still, if you are not spoiled from another MMORPG, or if you like Pirates (and I do) it is worth a shot.

The cool thins if you can play for free and get limited content (most MMOs dont let you do that) and if you like it you can buy in and get all the content.

I have never played TTO so I have no idea if it is the same.

I used to play the free trial. I at times play POTC but i haven't been that into video games anymore. Reason is i was a hardcore gamer for years but now im 21 and enjoy the outdoors (fishing, golf, hunting...) not to get off topic. I did enjoy that game though.
