Good thing the wife isn't in the room or I'd be required to answer Sleeping Beauty.
for me
(1) Peter Pan
(2) Lilo and Stich
from there they all sort of crowd the top.
Bust asking a favorite is like asking which bite of your favorite dish was best.

Mr. Starkey: No splash, Captain.
Captain Hook: So, you want a splash, Mr Starkey? I'll give you a splash!
[Hook throws Mr Starkey overboard]
Captain Hook: Who's next?

My DW's all time favorite is Jungle Book!! If you run a Google search for an image of Baloo, she's on the first page!

Meet the Robinsons was pretty memorable and seemd like it may have been the beginning of another Disney Animation renaissance. Here's hoping for many more Lion Kings and Little Mermaids.
edit (October 26): After buying MTR and watching it again. I'd have to say it's at the top of the list of my favorite animated movies. I could watch it over and over again.

The Wind in the Willow's (Mr. Toad) from the 1950s is my favorite. I LOVE that movie, the animation is awesome, the atmosphere, humor and characters are all top notch. Of course it is a fantastic story anyway but here it has the Disney magic touching it. Mr. Toad is just wacky, a total maniac and I can picture him updated having to have the latest technology -- IPod, IPhone, Kindle etc.
This is my good luck movie, when I watch it something really good always happens! I know that sounds silly but it's true!

I'd say:
1. Little Mermaid - I was 7, she was awesome (though Ursula made me hide under the theater seat).
2. Beauty and the Beast - it's gorgeous, the songs are great, and there was finally a brunette princess (who liked to read).
3. The Lion King - tight story, great vocal work, wonderful songs, and the naturalism of the animals can't be beat.
Don't get me wrong - I also love the classics - but as a child of the 1980s, the Disney Renaissance period is what I think of first when I think of Disney Animation.

Bambi, Pinnochio, the Fox & the Hound, and Mary Poppins are four of my all-time favorites. But, I must say, Cars simply blew me away when it came out. I think it is the best movie (animated or otherwise) that I've ever seen.
