I want to know what you would think of this new movie. I know that I am a new user, and my ideas are pretty much useless, but I'm not quite sure about this MOVIE. If Wall- E's voice changes, I personally would like it better.

you know, I haven't even heard of this movie coming out. the plot outline per
IMDb looks like a description of
Bicentennial Man. not sure if I'll see this one in the theater or just get it from Netflix...

Not the case Phantasmo. All users are treated with the same amount of respect..
We value all opinions and love a good debate.
As for the movie. I really haven't seen or read enough about it to really make an opinion. I'm waiting for more info to come out before I start forming an opinion.

Saw the preview before Ratatouille this summer - I'm a huge Pixar fan and they've never let me down!
And welcome - these forums are open to everyone! 8)

Well, i have had pretty much the same attitude about all the pixar movies. usually when they first start showing previews they aren't very long. And the posters usually are out way before the movie also. I remember seeing the poster for "Cars" and thinking to myself, "Cars?? What the heck are they going to do with cars? That looks retarded." Then when I go see I fall in love with it. Same with "Ratatouille." I saw that and thought, "Great another rodent movie." But loved it just the same as the others. So Yah, of course I saw the Preview for "Wall-E" And heard him say his voice like all"waaaaaalleeeeee." It was all robotic and weird. So right now I have no desire to go see that movie. But I will eventually and will probably end up liking it. lol!
I do stuff sometimes.

I was really impressed by the look and feel of the preview before Ratatouille. The only Pixar movie thus far that I haven't really enjoyed was Cars (and I didn't -hate- it .. just kinda meh), so I'm looking forward to hearing more about this one.

I've just seen a very brief trailer, and it looked interesting. Like others have said, Pixar rarely disappoints. I'm looking forward to it.

Bigthunderlover, I can relate to you. Pixar, for the most part, has made Excellent, Top of the line quality movies. Undoubltedly some movies of theirs are better than others, but I'm just not too sure about this one. Needs more trailers.
Hey! Thanks for posting guys, I really appreciate the welcome. Anyway, I just wanted to know what your opinions were. As for Wall- E............ maybe his voice will change, hopefully.

This looks like a very interesting, emotionally-moving story, even moreso than the others (and that's pretty difficult). I've heard a lot praise for where this movie. However, JHM says this one is going to be a little different than what we're used to in other Pixar movies... I don't know what "different" means though. I really like WALL-E's voice from the trailer too... haha...

This is the first Pixar film where I've thought, What is it about???
Usually the title somewhat gives it away and is descriptive (Toy Story, Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, etc.).
Jury's out, but they haven't done me wrong yet.

From what I've seen so far, I think the picture sounds gutsy. Not having a lot of dialog will put a lot of weight on the "acting" ability of the characters to convey emotions. It sounds much more risky than Cars or Ratatouille, and could be very rewarding.

Personally, I just hope that there isn't a lot of talking from Wall- E. I mean, at least Donald Duck's voice was actually many times understandable, but from just watching the trailers, I couldn't understand what he was saying. If they do decide to have him talk, I hope there won't be a huge monologue.

I had been imagining it similar to E.T. with the voice. He talks only on occasion and with few words, but those words usually drive the plot. I hope they either take that approach or change his voice somewhat from the voice in the preview.

Is there more than one trailer out there? I only heard him speak the one word (Wall-E) in the trailer I saw. I actually thought his voice sounded like a robot from the future as it was seen in the past, if that makes any sense..
The plot looks pretty similar to the other Pixar films to me (finding out who he's meant to be and all), but I have yet to be disappointed. Can't wait to hear more details!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

i personally think it'll be rather cute. Wall-e is really awesome looking.
I think Pixar should personally undertake some sort of Halloween movie. Maybe like the main character's a skeleton or something. Idk. Just a dumb idea.
