My daughter went to a sleepover for HSM2, but my youngest son watched it with my wife and I and we even convinced our 15 year old to watch - LOL! I taped it and we watched it again last night with her.

Thought it was great fun for the target audience - good, clean and I actually really dug that baseball number sequence. I'm sure we'll have it on DVD the instant is released.

Oddly enough, I've caught it in the middle and the end, but haven't been able to see it straight through, yet.

To be honest, I had the first one on as background when I saw it, and I didn't care too much for it. I'm going to try to sit down and watch them both and see how it goes.

The Disney Channel (outside of football season) is all that we watch in our house. It's the only clean programming on TV, regardless of the quality of all the shows. ;)

I did end up catching HSM2 and thought it was a little better story wise than the first, but the music seemed more forced than last time. I zoned out on Zac Efron's solo song. But, besides that, there were a couple catchy tunes and I think it was a good sequel to the original.

But, I still can't believe I actually watched it.

tip to parents: Don't use it to prove your point to a 13 yr old daughter.

when the girl told the boy (i'm so good with names) that it was time to move on...i told my daughter thats why she needs to wait till college or after to even worry about boys....dating is for preparation of marriage. otherwise its just a diversion from her future....she was very upset...she got into the show and was sad...i chose the wrong time...bad me.

We saw it for each of the three airtimes this past weekend. Friday was the viewing party and there was so much going on in our house that we did not get to see as much of it as we would have liked. Saturday we sat down with just our 2 children and watched the movie. I like the music better than HSM1. The only song I do not care for is Sharpey's "I want more" song. My favorite is "You are the Music in Me". I like the storyline as it really teaches you not to be self-centered. And I really liked Zac Efron's solo. It is a great "guy song". Overall, a great addition to the HSM franchise.

Does anyone know when HSMII will be released on DVD? I don't have cable, so have to hold off till then.

I'm intrigued to see what all the hype is about. Saw the first one last week and was pretty unimpressed. I think I might have liked it, but I was expecting show tunes, not pop music.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Well we watched it three times this weekend and my daughter has been listening to the soundtrack since. I liked it the songs were good. Now we will have to wait for the third one to come out. In the meantime Disney will see to it we see it over and over again and buy all the merchandise. Wich is fine with me! 8)
