New Monopoly Game

Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

New Monopoly Game

Post by rudekick » Apr Fri 28, 2006 1:15 pm

http://www.hasbro.com/monopoly/

This has been in the news a bunch recently. Apparently they are "updating" monopoly with famous places from around the United States., and you can vote online for your favorite landmark from each of a number of major cities. (As a future Seattle-ite, I'm very disappointed with the current vote leader in Seattle. How is Pike Place Market in last!?!?!)

Anyways, Disneyland isn't an option for Los Angeles, but Disney World is for Orlando. It's leading by a lot, so it probably doesn't need "our help," but it never hurts to vote!

Hey, that is pretty cool! Thanks for the link - WDW seems like a hands down winner. Some of the choices for other cities seem odd!

where did they come up with these landmarks? Seattle didn't have the Space Needle. What's that all about? Its missing tons of great landmarks from big cities all over. I doubt I will EVER play this version of monopoly.
