I sure hope that when the Disney purchase of Pixar goes through that they will no longer have to say "the Disney presentation of the Pixar film...". That sounds so ridiculous. The deal is worth every dime just to stop having to say that every time they mention a Pixar film.

When I went to see Incredibles the trailer for Cars was shown. For some reason I'm the least excited about this Pixar movie. I think it's because it's Nascar. Nascar is weak compared to Forumla-1.

Darn tootin sub. I enjoy the fact that they don't just make left turns all day. I drove a nascar car down at Dover downs and it was cool but I preffered it when my co-worker took me out in his Acura NSX and drove around a F-1 track. It wasn't as fast but man was it awesome.

Me too. Just soooo not interested, but I'll go because I love their movies. Then I'll end up falling in love with one character or another and proclaim it the best movie ever. Sheesh.

Huh? what language are you speaking??

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! The whole Nascar thing just doesn't excite me at all. I hope they have a lot more to the plot than just that. The car design looked pretty sweet though. Hope the result is better than I'm expecting!

I'm a big baseball fan (Yankees), but so many people think baseball is boring. Well, I think car racing is about as big a yawn as there is. I know it is very popular, but I just can't understand why. I guess that's what makes the world go 'round. I just hope the movie is entertaining.

Cars might not be that bad, who knows it might backfire. It makes sense, it is all about cars

What i want out of this movie is a semi decent soundtrack, because the recent pixars haven't been too good. I don't know about the incredibles i still need to watch that, but finding nemo was a good movie but it had almost no music
That is all

it looks very interesting. Was never a racing fan myself but I just like the idea of talking inanimate objects. :D
Friendships are a blessing. Don't waste it on people who can't appreciate it.

I'm so excited for this one -- I saw the trailer and I was like, "those cars are so cute!" The cars look almost claymated. The rusty brown one looks like one of the bells in the orchestra in Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas. :D

Oh my goodness. I'm not the only one out there who loves Claymation Christmas! I took a look at the Cars site and you are so right artbaum. The rusty one does look like that goony bell! That makes me happy. I'm starting to like this movie better already.

I'm definately going to see Cars, so I'll hold off on the judgement of the movie. It's not like it's a topic that I think would make a really great film. But just from the trailers I thought Fincing Nemo was going to be pretty boring, after seeing it I think it's my second favorite Pixar flick. TS1 will never be topped!!

I too will reserve judgement until after I see it. I will go see it because I love animated movies :D it's a nice break from reality and I enjoy the popcorn .. ha ha ha
