Travel Channel Disney Related Shows

Post by Darren » Jan Tue 03, 2006 8:55 pm

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, so hopefully this isn't repeat information...

Tomorrow (1/4), the Travel Channel is airing a few shows about Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Animal Kingdom. Plus something about imagineers. It all starts at 3:00 Eastern, 12:00 Pacific.

I already have my DVR set up. It was mentioned on another thread. I can't remember which one right now but someone had a link to a site that lists up coming Disney related shows.

Bah! VCR's are gone the way of the old goat! hehehe - just kidding. Have a VCR, just doesn't tape well. I suppose I could if it were hooked up to the TV... LOL!

I think they were all re-runs from last year, I could have sworn I saw them all before (with the exception of the Disneyland one)

Of the two shows I saw on the Travel channel (I think I missed one because I was sleeping-stupid night shift), both were made in 2002.
Meep meep meep.

Cool, thanks!

We got a Tivo for Christmas, which is how I happened to find the shows in the first place. It's pretty cool to be able to view the TV listings on the TV for a couple of weeks at a time.

The Tivo works pretty well, though I've noticed that it will ocasionally cut off the last minute or few of a show.

Oh, and I wanted to say that I was thinking that I had seen the episode about Disneyland before. But maybe they just used a lot of footage and interviews that they had also used for some other shows. Because although some parts were very familiar, there were other parts I had never seen before.

Does it make me an obsessive to say I love these shows on the Travel channel and try to watch them when the come on tv. The last one I saw was on the Food channel and it showed how they make all the gingerbread houses etc around Disney World. It was hosted by Raven.

I watched that one too! Maybe we are a little obsessive. But I figure there can be worse things to be obsessed over.

I have saved so many of these to my Tivo that I am running out of space. Hmmmmm, sounds like we need a bigger hard drive.

The Building of Everest is going to be on on Monday night at 9:00pm on the science channel. And again like four more times on Tuesday. mid night, 4:00am, 10:00am, and 2:00pm. Then, I think the same one, on the Discovery Channel on Wed. at 8:00pm and at mid night too.

Just thought you would all want to know so you can set your DVR/VCR's for it. And Mickeymac your discs have been finished (just got a real copy of the HC doc.) lost the one I did but now they will be sent out to you on monday.
