Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

I only have one chaser and that is because we cheated. My mom and I split a case of 24 on the Park 3 series and you are guaranteed a chaser in those 24 boxes. So, I have one, but it technically doesn't count as I didn't "find" it.

...or you could cheat by buying it off of Ebay as well.

Doesn't matter how you obtain it, if you own it, you own it! And then you have more cool toys than the rest of the kids

Any bite marks on your little dollys yet from your little girl playing with Daddy's toys?

They're not "dollies", they're "action figures" that smell like cheap plastic!

They're becoming the new Star Wars collectors.

I think you meant to say the
action figures arms move.

MmeLeota wrote:I absolutely HATED these things when they first came out. They were Miceky-shaped but downright creepy looking to me. But as they have released more and more, I have found that there are quite a few that have grown on me. I like the Muppets ones the best. The larger plush ones have been in the Disney Character Warehouse, but I can't seem to bring myself to even buy one. I'll just keep looking at the pictures. (Unless a MmeLeota one is released, then I might have to find one

)
I've never seen the HM one NaCler! Thanks for sharing that one.
Which warehouse???? NAPLES is the best

If it has less points of articulation than a barbie then it's a doll, if it has more then it's an action figure.

If it has less points of articulation than a barbie then it's a doll, if it has more then it's an action figure.

If it has hair that can be combed and styled, then its a doll; if it's small and plastic, it's action figure. As I remember it, the LOST action figures had NO articulation at all....(to me, that's just a lump of plastic)....

But GI Joes originally had hair that could do that, therefore GI Joes are dolls.
I haven't seen the lost stuff, but it sounds like those model things that people buy, they have some name that makes them sound manlier than statuette, I think they might call them maquettes. Because "Bikini princess leia statue" is just sleezy, but "Bikini princess leia maquette" is pure class.

My kids have a few that I don't mind what they do with them. In fact, the one I brought home for my girl (Hula Minnie) is missing her arms and has been chewed on. The one that took me the whole trip to find for my 5yo now has some minor teeth marks on one of the ears but it is his, so I don't mind... especially since I have another one for me.

That is nice that they have a few for their own enjoyment ~ and by the time they are older, they will appreciate Daddy's collection a little more and hopefully have moved out of the gnawing stage
Action figures/dollies, they all are fun to play with, but it is more fun to play with their owners by calling them dollies

You can call them dollies if you want. Doesn't bother me. Remember, I've already lost my man-card on this site!

This is true, we know you are a sensitive sweet guy and we still like you! But I think it bothers mindflipper...just a teeny tiny little bit
