I'm reviving this one because it's just too great of a topic!

I totally agree about the smell on POTC!

Here are some others...
-the sound of the railroad moving along the track
-sitting on the porch swing on Main St. people watching
-shaking hands with Oscar at the Carnation Cafe (he was hired in 1956 and joined Carnation Cafe in 1967...been there ever since! Really nice guy!!!! I met him in 2007, but I don't know if he's still working or not)

- Sitting upstairs at Columbia Harbor House and watching all the people walk into and out of Fantasyland.
- Lucking into riding twice or even three times in a row.
- Catching Space Mountain with the lights on when riding the TTA.
- Downing an entire cup of Beverly just to enjoy the shocked reactions of everyone else.
- The howl from the Haunted Mansion.
- the paths up under the Tree of Life that no one seems to know about.
- the view from ToT when the elevator doors open.
- the scream as the big wave is released at Typhoon Lagoon.
- the audible gasp from the crowd when the first flares come out of the castle during Wishes.

:D

Ooooo! I loved reading everyone's lists...here are my five

-the faint smell of the old, good Journey Into Your Imagination ride in the new not good No Imagination ride
-the lights outside the Innoventions building, I could stare at them for hours
-the music and fountain show at EPCOT, at night, while people stream past in a hurry to be out and you are lingering to see the whole spectacle of the huge fountain
-the chill you inexplicably get walking into the hot, humid Florida air after being on the plane and thinking, wow, we're here!
-the chocolate earred mickey mouse rice krispie treat! (I really should write a macro into my keyboard as often as I type that phrase!!)

- Dole whips
- Finding out where our room will be and running there to see it for the first time
- Bringing our collection of plush dolls back trip after trip and decorating our room or window with them and adding a new one to the collection
- Swimming in the pool and hot tub late at night after the parks are closed
- Watching Stacy as we get ready for the parks
- Jumping fountains
- Lights on the ground at Epcot
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Sitting in one of the wicker rockers on the porch of the Boardwalk. After checking in it's usually my first stop to go through the reading material I just got at check in.

If it's not too obvious a choice, I like the area music.

... and the Dole Whips

I don't know why I didn't post here before?! Anyway, there are so many little favorties I have at Disney, I'll list my top 5

1. The smell and feel of walking into the lobby of the Poly for the first time of your trip, checking in. I love being "welcomed home".

2. Watching wishes from the beach at the Poly

3. Dole Whips

4. The ToT at dusk

5. The walkway between Tomorrowland and Toon Town (hope it's still there after the refurb)
