That's insane. At that point, you have to ask yourself if it's really worth sacrificing four hours of your life for a 90 second ride, instead of just returning another day.Club33Hopeful wrote: Now, if we happen to be talking Six Flags Magic Mountain... Over 4 hours when Viper first opened.

True, but at the time I was a season ticket holder and went several times a week. My dad dropped me off on his way to work in Burbank (we lived in Lancaster) and picked me up on the way home. Obviously before I had a license. I spent so much time at the park, I was sick of everything. So, for me, the four hours was worth it. It opened the summer after I completed my first year of high school. 1990.kgmadorin wrote:That's insane. I guess time is just more valuable now than it was back then. When I was in high school, we lived about an hour from the Six Flags that's located north of Chicago. I remember when the Batman roller coaster opened, we waited about two hours in the queue before the ride broke down and was defunct the rest of the day. These days, I can't imagine spending so much time waiting in line. I suppose for me "growing up" has also meant losing some of the patience I had for that sort of stuff.Club33Hopeful wrote:True, but at the time I was a season ticket holder and went several times a week.
