90 minutes on Spalsh. Now, if we happen to be talking Six Flags Magic Mountain... Over 4 hours when Viper first opened.

That's insane. At that point, you have to ask yourself if it's really worth sacrificing four hours of your life for a 90 second ride, instead of just returning another day.

I don't get it. I can't believe how many people don't use or know about Fast Pass...it is the only way to go...why waste your time waiting in line!

True, but at the time I was a season ticket holder and went several times a week. My dad dropped me off on his way to work in Burbank (we lived in Lancaster) and picked me up on the way home. Obviously before I had a license. I spent so much time at the park, I was sick of everything. So, for me, the four hours was worth it. It opened the summer after I completed my first year of high school. 1990.

I guess time is just more valuable now than it was back then. When I was in high school, we lived about an hour from the Six Flags that's located north of Chicago. I remember when the Batman roller coaster opened, we waited about two hours in the queue before the ride broke down and was defunct the rest of the day. These days, I can't imagine spending so much time waiting in line. I suppose for me "growing up" has also meant losing some of the patience I had for that sort of stuff. :?

Years ago my sister and I waited in line about three hours for Splash. Of course it was right after the attraction opened and they had to stop often to work out the kinks. I was probably 12 or 13 then and I'm not so sure I'd have the patience to do it again.

I personally didn't wait in it but there was a 180 min wait once for Test Track.

The longest I've ever waited for something was about 90 min.

The longest I had to wait was about an hour for Space Mountain in 2002 for Grad Nite... River Rapid comes in second with about 30 minutes. I was by myself.
