WDW on Modern Marvels

Post by rknrlrcstr » Sep Mon 14, 2009 8:48 am

I know this may be short notice and a time sensitive notice, but I just wanted to let y'all know that The History Channel's Modern Marvels show featuring Walt Disney World will be on today at 12 noon ET and 6 pm ET. The show is a two hour program.

Here's hoping you get a chance to see it.

Last I knew, a DVD of this show was available at some WDW shops. I think it is also available at the History Channel's website.

Enjoy it if you get the chance.
Are we there yet? When can we go back?

I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

I am watching it as I am writing this. Even though I have seen it several times before, it is something great to watch time and time again.

I guess that confirms it is the same one that has been aired. I had classes all day today and missed it. At least I still have it saved to my DVR from the last time it was on in June.

It is the same one that has aired previously, they just added Toy Story Midway Mania to the show about a year ago. They added it right before AK and right after ToT.

I was going to watch it, but i seen it so many times that i wasn't that into it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I always love to watch things about WDW, DL, and the other parks. :mickey:

I had missed it previously, so we watched it. We were so excited to see Kevin Rafferty since we had just talked to him over the weekend about the Radiator Springs Racers! (I guess it doesn't take much to excite us...) :)

I believe I purchased this on iTunes for two dollars. Very cheap. There are many Season of Disney shows there. I also recorded some shows from the travel channel on Disney World onto DVD and then ripped them to watch whenever I want. They're all great shows.

I can't tell you how many times I have watched it. It's my favorite of all of the Disney specials. You get to see from the very beginning of Walt's ideas all the way to today. Plus it is 2 hours long...so you get a ton of Disney info packed in.

Yes I have! I actually get my DVR to record Disney shows whenever they come on! I guess that makes me a Disney nut! :D
