Best days for MVMCP?

We are headed to WDW December 13-19 (what a great time of year to go...right?) We want to go to MVMCP but aren't sure what day, if any, would be better. The 14th, 16th or 18th. I've heard Tuesdays for some reason are the best days to go. I'm leaning toward the 18th because it's our last full day and it would be great to leave on such a special note. My only concern is that is the second to last party and I'm afraid it might be pretty crowded. Any experience to share? Thanks.
I would think the Tuesday would be better then the Thursday, but I do like your idea of closing the trip out with MVMCP. I think it depends on what you want to accomplish. If you are going to ride rides I find the hard ticket events don't lend themselves to super short lines. If you want to see the parade, fireworks and characters then it probably doesn't matter.
