14 days of Magic - My Trip Report

Post by Epcotmaniac » May Fri 02, 2014 5:34 pm

I was in Orlando from february 23rd to march 9th and I experienced so many great and some not so great things and met some amazing people. I don't want to write down every deatil of my trip but some highlights. I took about 1250 photos and some videos.

I will start with the arrival and will write more within the next days.

I flew with Delta Airlines and it was the best flight I ever had. They had a great offer of different movies in their inseat entertainment, also many Disneymovies like Lion King and Frozen. I had a window seat and could take some good pictures. The woman sitting next to me was watching Gravity and I guess she did not like the movie. I heard her talking ti herself how stupid the movie was. The food was ok. During my stopover at JFK I had the chance to walk around. My flight to Orlando delayed by about 45 Minutes.

I guess that must be Long Island.

The DME to the Pop took one hour and instead of the new bus video the showed us Cars 2. Onced I arrived at the Pop I got my Magic Band and I loved it.I arrived at about 1 AM at the Pop and I stayed at Room 6236. It was close to the Main Hall and right at the Hourglass Lkae so I had a wonderful view at the AoA Resort.

1250 photos! Wow! Thanks for sharing some.

I watched Gravity on my flight to Florida too. It seemed funny to me that a flight disaster movie made the airline list of OK ones to show :) I stayed in the 50's section at Pop a few weeks before your trip. What decade of buildings were you in?

And I hope you share what you liked and what you think could be improved. The Disney Standard should be maintained.

1250 photos sounds just about right to me

Oh the joys of digital photography that allows you take so many photos most of which turn out better than ok.
Better than the days when you eagerly awaited the return of your film from the photo lab only to be disappointed that most of them weren't what you thought you had taken :(

Roll on Epcotmanic, can't wait to see more :)

Wow! Our stays are normally 9 - 11 days, and I must say that it took a lot of MHM (Mom's Home Management) to plan them all. Now they're becoming old-hat, but the fun one has in the anticipation of it all is a major thrill.

& yes, you have to share the ultimate 2-thousand plus photos of your experiences at WDW!

Last time I went to Disney, I took my boyfriend (his first time in The World) and he was pretty much done with it after 4 days, and we stayed for 5.

I cannot imagine 14 Days! THAT'S AMAZING (And Expensive...).

That all said, we just planned our trip for Labor Day Weekend. Want to be there right now!!

How "amazing" can those people be, NaCler? I hear they took him to lunch at Biergarten in Germany. You think he would get enough of German food at home...

Great report so far, E-M! Keep'em coming!
