Thanks Goofy. I like looking at other pics too and wanted to make sure I had enough for you to feel like you were there.

I have some video from the trip that will be uploaded to YouTube soon that I think you'll enjoy.

Here's the first of a small collection of video from this trip. This first one is walking from the central pathway outside of the park toward the main gates. I used YouTube's image stabilization which seems to work pretty well but that enhancement explains the slight wave motion in some of the objects.

More to come.

Neat ~ so familiar and yet so different! Did you see many other guests that looked like they were from somewhere other than the Asian continent?

Yes, there were lots of Australians (naturally) and some European tourists mixed among those from SE Asia.

Interesting. I recall seeing very few other non-native guests when I was at TDL/TDS. I was there in the early part of December so perhaps it was just an off-season to be visiting.

Here are a couple of additional YouTube videos from this trip:

The first one was shot after closing after the fireworks ended. I made a beeline for Mystic Point even though the park was closed and shot the walk back to the Plaza so you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Mystic Point, Grizzly Gulch, and Adventureland. I didn't image-stabilize this video because when I did the lights were all swirly and made me dizzy.

The second is a walk from the very back of the Hollywood Hotel up toward the lobby so you can see the resort grounds. It includes a special celebrity appearance.

These are so neat ~ thank you for sharing them! So cool to hear all the sounds and music ~ kind of eerie how deserted it was that close to closing!
So fun that they had a character at the resort! The poor thing would be mobbed at the US parks

Donald was all over the Hollywood Hotel. I swear they must make him do a shift as a lifeguard at the pool.

I also saw Mickey in his chef's getup at the main restaurant in the hotel. They are generous with the character face time in Hong Kong.

Awesome report horizons1. It's awesome that you had a chance to add this on to your business trip. Thanks for the pictures and video as I don't really think that I will ever get the chance to go there. So it's nice to experience it through you.

Thanks NaCler. I like to get some "environmental" ambient style pics and video on my trips because it feels more like I am there than some of the normal staged shots.
