Unusual Lodging Reservation Request

So my coworker/friend Jane is in a multi-partner relationship, which means she has both a boyfriend and girlfriend. They are wanting to plan a trip to Disney for the three of them but when they go online to look at room quotes, it won't let them select the King size option with 3 people on the reservation. She thought at first it might be that the rooms are smaller with the Kings but I told her that they are not.
She wants to get a package deal for all three of them with dining so my question to you guys is, if she called Disney Reservations or went through a travel agent, do you think she would be able to get the reservation as she wants? They want a King size bed so that they can all share and the two doubles or queens would not work well for their arrangement.
Thanks for any advice you can give me to give her.

The best you can do is call I suppose, though it might not work still if their reservation system has the same restrictions coded in.

I'd have to echo what Wizzard said ~ she should call and ask if it is possible.

Yeah, she should just call. If there is a particular resort they have in mind, I'd also suggest calling that resort and speaking with the manager on duty. They will know the best room configuration to recommend as well. I did this when my wife and I were traveling with our moms and needed maximum sleeping space, kind of the opposite problem. The manager at the Beach Club (my resort choice) was super proactive, gave me his email address, and let me coordinate with him about 30-days out to secure the best spot. No pun intended, but they really are quite accommodating!

they could always pull the mattress off the beds and make a floor king out of two fulls...

Ugh, who's the poor sap that gets the crack? Or do you lie sideways and everyone has the crack at their waist? It's innovative, but all I can think of is how uncomfortable it would be.

I hadn't thought of that! That would be pretty uncomfortable. Plus what if the mattresses slid apart during...sleeping?

I don't know if there would be the floor space for that. They wouldn't be able to move the bed frames out of the way after all.

I would imagine housekeeping would take issue with that, esp. if they neglected to put said mattresses back.

Disney seems to be pretty good at modifying the rules on some things. Won't hurt to ask. They may charge a minimal fee.
