That is true....and All Star Movies is always last to get picked up and last to get off....usualy standing room only. :x :goofy:
Do you remember where they pick up the people first? Music or Sports?

Good news: I was promoted at work yesterday. Beginning next month I can work more hours a week with a higher hourly wage. So I will definitely stay at a Disney resort. I might stay at the Pop. Its only 100 € more for two weeks than All-Stars Music or Sports. Amazingly All-Stars Movie is the most expensive one and would cost 300€ more than the other All-Stars resorts.
The bus stops at Sports first. You might double check to see when the food court will reopen if it hasn't already. If you can stay at Pop I think you would really enjoy that one. I haven't stayed there personally but you seem like you would enjoy it!
Congratulations on the promotion and raise :D
EDIT: Looks like the food court is supposed to reopen on 12/20/13 so you should be good if you choose Sports. Not sure why the Movies is more expensive unless the rooms are a bit bigger or recently renovated?

That's because the All-star Movies resort is much more popular. I, personally, would choose Pop over AS Sports or AS Music. You'll also have your own bus, rather than sharing among three resorts. The rooms are the same, and the same size. The food court was just fine. The girls and I stayed at Pop in 2008 in a preferred room and it was fine. It was noisier than the moderate or deluxe resort, but it was nice. You'll probably save overall staying at Pop because you won't need to pay to get to your hotel or the park.

I just returned from the POP and I enjoyed it very much. Nice food court, nice staff, good buses. No complaints at all. :)

Have you stayed at the All Stars before to be able to compare the rooms between the two hotels? I'm just curious why the Pop is so much higher than the All Stars if they are both considered value resorts.

We stayed in All Star Movies in 2001... everything seemed comparable to the Pop except the bus situation. Epcotmaniac said that the ASM was more expensive for his dates than Pop. I wonder if that varies by the season, where Pop is more expensive over busy family times to encourage most of the kids to be at All Star? weird.

When I booked the only difference I noticed in price was when they would change the room option. Meaning, when I would get a quote one would be for the Standard room and the next would be for preferred or water view or something like that. If the standard room was offered it was all the same price.

Since you just got back, you're the perfect person to ask :) Have they put fridges back in all the rooms at Pop Century?

I just decided to spent 100€ more and made a reservation for the Pop Century. I stayed there three times and I know I would miss something if I would stay at any other resort.

That is awesome news!! I think you will be happy that you splurged. It isn't a great amount of money difference in the grand scheme of things, and you will have all the advantages of staying on property :D

Does anyone know if there are refrigerators at all of the Value resorts now? We will be at Sports...though the price difference was only like $50, we decided to save the difference between Pop and Sports for extra Flower and Garden fun! We won't be spending loads of time in the room anyway.
